Xbox / PS3 / Wii from Canada

I have a chance to get a gaming console from Canada by this year but was wondering if there would be any problems / incompatability with buying from there and using any of these in India?

Also any recommendations among the 3?
 
The region codes of the DVDs to be played will be different bro ...

Canada would be NTSC and here india is PAL ... Rest would not be different ..

Also i dont knw if the warranty would be applicable here which is very important from the Xbox POV ..

Let me knw if u need any specific information
 
^^ i think you can forget about those things if you mod it and play "ahem" games. However, in that case you have to forget about getting a PS3.

Even if you mod the 360, that won't make the console region free. The DVD's released would still bear region coding on them, and would hence need region free or NTSC based releases to be played.

My recommendation would be to go for the PS3. Considering the Blu-Ray games are region free, it would be a safer bet. But warranty again comes into picture, something which is very crucial with the current generation consoles.

Games are region locked as well as the console .. Try bypassing that
