Xbox to PC Setup

Folks,

I've a BSNL's WA1003A, & trying to have the xbox to PC setup.

I've connection is like this

Modem -> RJ45 -> xbox
Modem-> USB -> Laptop

But the problem is whenever I access my files form xbox it takes a really long time to load it, like its streaming from the internet. Is there a better way to connect this?
