XBOX With HDMI & Wireless Controller for 299US$

Dude, we live in India ! We are the dumping ground of the world. We still have Xbox pro (without HDMI) and Xbox core when the world was using Premium and Arcade for a long time !

And to compensate for us having no option but to buy old stuff, we have to pay a nice premium over what the world pays ! Hail Microsoft !!!!
 
Nothing mentioned on Microsoft website. Probably grey market piece without any warranty.

While it isn't too much of a problem buying a PS3 without warranty, the Xbox 360 is so problematic that it should never be bought without warranty. I myself was forced to buy it since the PS3 cannot work with a VGA monitor and I did not have money to buy a full HD LCD.

The PS3 is an awesome console. Gives less problems than the Xbox 360, heats up much less, has a Blue Ray drive (that doesn't sound noisy !) looks better (IMHO) and has a nice controller.

Also the main advantage of the Xbox 360 (more availability of games) is about to be wiped out in 2008 with some major releases of PS3 titles.

dude US consoles are NTSC so no use importing it , but if you want to mod it and play ahem!! games .. then no one is stopping you ..

and yes xbox360 is probelmatic .. I am on my second xbox360 withing 3days of buying it ..lucky for us that it comes with a 3yr extended warrranty:) , lets see how many xbox's I will go through during this period :bleh: ,
and about xbox360 vs ps3 , both have a very few exclusives ,and most of the games coming out are multi platform so go for PS3 if
a)you dont mind missing out on some xbox360 exclusives and xboxlive ( I bought Xbox360 coz I am a big time HALO fan:ohyeah: )
b)you have a LCD TV .

halo3 special edtion- 27k (similar to pro but with some halo3 gimmicks and 1 month xbox live gold membership)
