i am going to buy a new pci-e card and stuck on these two.since they have the same pricing ...about 6k(correct me if wrong).....which one is better?me going in 4 a sli mobo....

7300 gt for 4.5k?7300le comes for3k gs comes for 4k , and gt for 4.5(i heard it was 6k)....anyway thats not the answer , which of two(73gt vs 76gs) is better?

if iam not wrong the 7300gt with gddr2 memory is 4.5k while the gddr3 version is priced at 6K.

the 7600gs ddr2 versions are slower in performance than 7300gt with gddr3 memory.
however the 7600gs based on gddr3 memory has higher clocks and almost has peformance closer to 7600gt.however its not available here i guess.

So currently if ur getting a 7300gt get the one based on gddr3 memory as it has higer clocks and better peformance than 7600gs. If its not available get 7600gs ddr2.Hope it clears it up a bit.

Any benchmarks?

There is a review of palit 7300gt based on gddr3 memory here

Conclusion:
At the top end of the 7300GT specification, Nvidia had created quite a monster which offers a high level of perfomance for the intended market. In addition, Nvidia's 7300GT is the only budget GPU on the market that offers full hardware acceleration for HD resolution up to 1080p. In the case of Inno3D and Palit 7300GTs, they are faster than a standard clocked 7600GS, thanks to the high working frequencies of the GPU and memory.

We are very happy with the features and speed of Nvidia's 7300GT GPU and would highly recommend it to casual or light gaming users. From the results above, we do not believe ATi could come up with something that can go head to head with the 7300GT GPU at the same price bracket. Well done, Nvidia!!

Palit's 7300GT DDR3 doesn't seem to be available with Techcom India at the moment and neither XFX nor sparkle has it either. Leadtek is not available in my city. So any other brands for the DDR3 version of 7300GT?

^^ Current stock of 7300GT don't have any DDR3 versions.

Among the 7300GT DDR2 (4.5k) and 7600GS (6.xxk), the 7600GS is better :)

I heard that 7600 GS heats up a lot? I am already having high temp problems with my cpu & mobo. Don't want to add headache if its true.

Between those two ... definitely the 7600GS wins .. but hey , gather up some more and get a 7600GT , u won't regret it ..

Well, if the local techcom distributer can sourced it for me for ard 8.8k, I will definitely go for it, :hap2:
