Graphic Cards XFX 7800GTX Out of Stock ?

Hi,

It seems the XFX 7800GTX is out of stock everywhere? What the hell. Neither prime, nor rashi nor Smc international have it. Can anyone please confirm if they are indeed available.

There is a alternative brand, BIG which has the 7800gtx available. Is it any good. Since the 7800gtx are all based on reference boards, is it safe to go for it?

Please comment ASAP.

^^They are no longer reference boards. That was the case for the first couple of months. Now manufacturers are free to use their own custom designs. The big bonus of the XFX card is that it is factory overclocked. Don't think thats the case with BIG. Did you check for leadtek cards? They are overclocked as well and have a great game bundle!
 
xfx has already started changing the designs of their 7800GT and GTX.

Thats the best bet for now. If you cant find GTX then take GT its a great card from xfx. solid 50Mhz more on core than reference. Nice copper heatsink and great overclocker.

I wouldnt suggest BIG when it comes to high end cards. Wait for newer XFX 7800GTX stock to arive or get GT.
 
I would suggest you to wait... Dont get BIG at any cost... And even if you *have* to go for a card now... Get the XFX GT... The newer version... Comes with GTX HSF and factory overclocked... Ard 25K...
 
humm weird. I asked about gigabyte 7800GT at digigiga last week and they quoted 28K for 7800GT and 36K for 7800GTX. And that too october end or november availability.
