Graphic Cards XFX 9500 Gt query

One of my friends has a 9500 GT 512 mb DDR2 card, and wanted to sell it.
I wanted to know what is the rate he could expect, he has just the card and the box, no drivers since he downloads drivers from the net, and no accessories.
Also I wanted to know if the card is similar to 8600 gt DDR3,? and does it play the latest games at medium to high settings.

Nope A 9500GT DDR2 would not match an 8600GT DDR3 . He can probably expect a price of 2000rs for the same.

thnks for the reply, but 9500 gt will be able to play recent games at medium settings at resolutions around 1024x768 right.

Also I just read in a review on anand tech forums that the card will be able to play crysis at 800x600 on medium settings (yeah not great but considerable) and get decent frame rates, has anyone used this card for gaming.

I think u can sell it for 2-2.5k IMO. And ofcourse 9500 GT is more powerful if compared to 8600GT.

9500GT DDR2 performs at par with 8600GT DDR3 while 9500GT DDR3 is similar to 8600GTS.Have a look here:

thanks for replies, since I think he does not have bill and stuff, a price tag of around 2.2k should be reasonable I guess.
I'll use the card for few days and check , and then maybe put it up for sale.
