Hi folks,
My trusted old Antec True Power 480 died a few days ago and i purchased a Corsair 650TX from TheITWares via techenclave.
Replaced the SMPS and was happy the comp was up and running.
After that my 7800GT graphics card said bye bye...
Being a Bangalorean and staying in Pune is very frustrating for a guy who is used to purchasing from SP Road.
I required my computer to get back up and running asap and had no other option except DCC Deccan Gymkhana. I paid 9600 bucks for a XFX 6790 where as for the same price i could have purchased a 6850 in Bangalore.
My frustrations dont stop here....
I run my system on a dual boot with Windows 2000 server and Windows XP.
Now all is well with XP. But i do not have catalyst drivers for Win 2000 and hence the resolution is defaulted to 640 x 480. Imagine that on a 21" screen
I'm sure i would not be able to find a driver for a EOL operating system like Windows 2000 but is there any way i can push up the defaulted resolution on Windows 2000?
Please help.
