If I talk about smartphones, Windows Omnia 2 (sexy AMOLED goodness), Galalxy Note 1, Note 2, HTC One X, Moto G.
Apart from Moto G, all the UIs were laggy OotB. Took a decent time to startup and they just seemed a tacky skin over stock. Moto G was the exception. Fluid (stock UI).
Omnia 2 -- don't really remember. Long time back (in college). But them blacks were excellent. And used to flash ROMs more or less on a daily basis !
Non smartphones - The list is pretty long. The memorable ones being SE's S700i (huge swivel phone) and K850i.

I have come from Xperia X10 --> Galaxy S2 --> HTC ONE X --> GNEX 4 --> Xperia Z --> Xperia ZR --> LG G2 --> Iphone 5s --> Galaxy S5 --> Xiaomi MI3

I would say i got the same first time awesome experience as i had with all the above mobile phones (Except ZR) with just 14k, All the above mentioned were atleast 10k of value more than MI3 when i had them :p

Missed to mention Galaxy S3 and nexus 5 :D

Hi.. :) Have either of you tried the headphones on (i believe they do not come with one)? I'd seen a post here by ubergeek which said negatively of its audio quality when listening through headphones. Also how does it's screen(colors, brightness and blacklevels) stand against MOTOG or the super AMOLEDs ( of course, the resolution is higher for Mi3 but still ..) Finally, is it comfortable for single hand use?

Yeah, headphones during the gym. As somebody posted in the other thread, turn off MiSound. Sounds pretty good after that. Uses the same decoder as higher end phones like N5, LG G2, Note 3 etc.
Been using Moto G since it's launch in India. The screen is miles ahead of G. More vibrant colors, better viewing angles, smoother touch and of course, a higher res display. From what I know, Xiaomi uses screens from either Samsung or LG. It's an IPS LCD display. Again, the LCD vs AMOLED debate is never ending. I like both, LCD for the neutral life like colors, and AMOLED for better blacks and oversaturated touches. Again, this one's very bright and vibrant, and a treat to use. Blacks do look absolutely black (I've an image of Hitman drawn on a black background, and in full screen it looks as if merging with the bezels, so yes, blacks are good).
Single hand use depends on you. The phone is taller instead of wider, and for somebody with big hands (like me), it's gonna be fine. Do get a matte back cover or something as the back is quite slippery.

Really audio quality through earphones is one of the worst. even my signature acoustics c12 struggles with this. :( no idea how this will get fixed.
And about the display you can definitely compare this with any high end mobile, I like over saturated colours such as in s5 the reason I bought it, this one satisfies me at 50% auto level of v brightness.
Single hand use will depend on hand size, it's as big as Xperia top end models.

Audio quality is definitely better than most people coffin I used Dirac and chose Xiaomi headphones lite and it sound wonderful. You just have to play around with the settings. Initially I also thought it s crap

A definite let down in the audio department. Sound improves a bit by turning the MI Sound Enhancer off.

I got the piston 2 and with the Dirac on and selecting Piston 2 preset, it sounds good, but the right size tips matter a lot here. Also the bass is pretty weak even after trying separate bass booster apps for the same. But the sound signature is pretty decent to say the least.

Exactly my impressions of these earphones (atleast of the piece that I got). Not sure if it was somehow defective or what was it, but even after using it for 3 days I still couldn't convince myself to keep it because of the weak bass. So, I returned it to Flipkart yesterday. Sound was decent enough for the price I guess, but the bass was way too weak for my liking. Thinking of ordering TTPOD T1-E from some Chinese seller now.

For me it's just the opposite, the bass is slightly overpowering the rest of the frequencies. The bass is hefty with the default tips.. Got the second pair for my brother today from FK btw. What is you audio source, mi3? For those who tried the Piston 2 on normal stereo source, ensure that you press or the play/pause button on the headset ( i use the rubber band to press the same ) as it is TRRS (OMTP) connector.

Yea, I mean the general consensus is that these earphones have pretty nice bass. That's why I was surprised by the lack of bass in mine & kept "burning" them in a hope they will somehow have that amazing bass that everyone talks about. But there wasn't any noticeable change, so decided to return it. I was thinking of getting a replacement from Flipkart, but it only showed the option for refund, so I took it.

I tried it on Galaxy S3, Galaxy Nexus & XPS 15 L502X laptop.
