Xiaomi Mi3 lag in video playback

Guys i got my Mi3 last evening. I have two questions to the Indian owners of Mi3.

1. I am not able to register myself in mi so that i can download themes. Is there any site where i can register through my lap or some work around?
2. Yesterday i tried to play Friends episode (720P of HDTV print). I can see there is some lag in the video playback. I was using MX player. Is it only me?

Can some body help me with these.

Try using Software/Hardware+ mode in MX player.

@Kevin Lane Once i change Hardware to Software, there is no lag in Video playback..

One more thing, when i long press Menu button, i am getting all the opened apps.
Along with it, i also get Cleaner. When i press to clean, i am able to see it is only 1GB.

But in settings, it is showing as 2 GB.

Can somebody point out as what i am seeing wrong.

@magesh85 it shows free memory as 1 GB after a clean up
