Xiaomi MIUI 7 to roll out on October 27 - list of devices

Xiaomi will be rolling out the MIUI 7 update for practically all the devices in its portfolio. These include the Xiaomi Redmi 1S, Redmi 1S 4G, Redmi 2, Redmi 2A, Redmi 2S, Redmi Note, Redmi Note 4G, Redmi Note 2, Mi 2, Mi 3, Mi 4, Mi 4c, Mi 4i, Mi Note, and the Mi Note Pro. In addition to the smartphones, the Mi Pad too is set to get the MIUI 7 update.

It is also said to increase the smartphone’s speed by up to 30 percent, and battery life by up to 10 percent. It lets users skip annoying voice prompts with Interactive Visual Response (IVR), and is available for banking, booking air tickets and more from 50 Indian partners.

Sad to know they are still sticking to Kitkat 4.4.4. It would have been a shot in the arm for Xiaomi regarding dispatch of latest software updates for its products.
