The successor to the popular phablet, which has sold millions in China and is now available in India as well, is expected to keep the same screen size (5.5-inch) while upgrading its resolution to 1080p.
The new Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 will allegedly be powered by either the Snapdragon 615 or MediaTek 6752, both of which are 64-bit octa-core chipsets. Combine that with 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB internal storage, 13 MP rear and 5 MP front cameras and a 3,000 mAh battery, and you have an excellent Android phablet which is bound to be priced about $150, i.e. it will be affordable.
The Redmi Note 2 rumored to arrive in early 2015.
