awesome stuff. hopefully its affordable for me after a year maybe. 1 phone i want to have.

but also do checkout the new htc touch pro. its basically a diamond with a sliding keypad like the x1. also its got way better specs than diamond. but unfortunately this too will cost a bomb considering that the diamond costs 26.5k here.

any idea on a release date for the xperia?
 
I just hope the UI is as sexy as it looks, ...P1i was a big downer for me

id not mind the diamond myself only deciding factor wud be the cost
 
I posted the expected release date, reported by Engadget, its around September. Im double minded about the Xperia, ever since i saw how the keypad looks like. Honestly it looks like some cheap plastic covering.
Im holding out on this. Next contender is the HTC Diamond Pro / Iphone (only if its the 3G version).
 
PPl please do not compare Iphone 3g with Xperia/Diamond

Just compared the Pro with Xperia....Xperia is way ahead but im sure thats gonna cost a bomb too...going with HTC pricing it still might be affordable ..i just hope SE does its pricing right either way it will be pro or xperia depending upon the price tag offcourse..we can call the Pro a lil bit toned down version of Xperia

Btw im expecting smthng arnd 800-900$ mark
 
Should it drop to under 20k after a year of launch, id would be a good buy for me. I'm really looking forward to the launch

HTC will be manufacturing X1 too. and being the smallest it looks better than the brick what Communicator was. I liked X1 but unfortunately its too big. I'll wait till dec to see how android shapes up...and how does X1 UI feel.
 
Battery Life should also be a Deal breaker b/w the Pro and Xperia ,lets c how it shapes up...most htc users dont complain abt the batt much tho..neither do SE users but being there first WM mobile..lets c how it goes
