Xperia users get Ice Cream Sandwich, others waiting

The Sony Neo V got the upgrade 2 days back and i have upgraded my bro's phone.have to admit that Sony started ICS upgrade more than month later compared to Samsung but got it upgraded quicker in India!!

immediate changes noticed is the task menu showing running programs,the gallery tile view,smoother UI,lesser memory consumption,fonts change!

the start up shows only ' SONY' and 'XPERIA' and nothing about ericsson anymore!the rest of the menu doesn't show much of a difference in appearance!

the negatives is the 5 widget arrangement on home screen.should have been 4 for a 3.7' screen!!

PS:the 'Sony companion' does a wonderful job in backing up data and thus no loss of data when upgrading!you get exactly how u left it !

battery improvement is present specially cause of better RAM management than before!

Yup.. My friend's Neo V lagged a bit with ICS Update. He Repaired the phone with PC companion and it was silky smooth.

Waiting for ICS update for my Mini Pro
