********THIS IS AN AUTOMATED MESSAGE********

My first reaction was its fake...
Just some1 trying to get passwords.
Is this true or just a prank?

Of course it is fake. Long back there was one similar scam running on hotmail too. The creator of that himself posted his spoils on an underground site. The idea is to extract passwords from unsuspecting users.

The hotmail one said that they can crack any hotmail acout you want but for that they would need your own hotmail email address and the password. There was some very credible reason given too.

The only thing is they have cleverly crafted the message to make it appear like domainkeys has signed the address, (the ones I got were not signed).. which is true, execpt tthat the account is not an admin account but is a private user account.

yahoo would never call an account acctprivacy. They would not use such abbreviation, would always call it accountprivacy or whatever.

Seems fake to me. I got such email pretending to be from ebay.com asking me to enter the last 4 digits of my credit card number. It turned out to be fake.
