Hi ... just a few days ago my two market posts were deleted due to bad quality of pictures :ohyeah: [I put end to bad quality of pictures via LZ10 from EBay:hap2:]

But point is mod had to PM me reason as I was just clueless :ashamed:

So here is suggestion ... Whenever a thread is deleted, automatic PM should go to creator of thread with reason if mod cares to put some words there ... just like when u report posts :D

Same can be done when thread is closed/opened by mod or creator himself/herself.

What u say guys? :)
 
^ i think this is a one off case. Normally when a post is deleted we do get a pm stating the reason.
 
There was a PM notification system earlier, but was removed because members would often reply rudely saying - how dare you delete xyz.

As far as the Market section is concerned, ample warnings have been given, stickies have been placed, announcements have been err announced(!) .. and still we see a lot of people blindly flouting the rules. There's only so much time we can afford to expend before it becomes a lost cause.

Sure viralbug ... that's why I haven't started thread yet :)

I am waiting to get back to Mumbai and use my LZ10 to shoot some really nice and clear pics this time :ohyeah:

yup ... and now I read all the rules once again :hap2:

but still I feel that PM notification should be there ... atleast if action is taken by moderator

I say keep the notifications there and ban those ijjuts :P

maybe a No-Reply notification pm would do.. not sure how that exactly works.. but im guessing thats a better option?
