Thoughts on Limbo ? It's on apple arcade now so might upgrade just to play it
For me that's golden era of mobile gaming. Leo's Fortune, Limbo, stardew valley, Monument valley, the room, smash hit, kingdom rush, crossy road etc. Or it might be I was still young and had lots of time to kill instead of busy on Internet.

Had a long gap, couldn't play any games this year due to several reasons..
Finally got some time and remembered a very old game I used to like - Dishonored 1.
Played the full game and felt satisfied...Hopefully I get more time to play the 2024 releases atleast in 2025.

Completed again: Metro Exodus (base game)

Man, I forgot what a trip this game was/is. The final act really pulls at your heart strings. I now remember why I fell in love with the Metro series, to begin with. 9/10.

Time for The Two Colonels + Sam's Story DLCs!

Started Star Wars Jedi Survivor, did the first 3-4 missions. Pretty solid so far.
Game is definitely good. You will love every mission of it.
Continuing STALKER 2 Shadow of Chornobyl
Even with the bugs enjoyed it a lot. Fyi if you are playing with game pass then there is a bug where if your computer crashes and you need to restart then you will loose your saves. 2-3 times I lost around 3-4hours of my saves(power cut and my broke ass doesn't use ups.)

Finished The Two Colonels. A very short but hard-hitting chapter. Brings complete closure to the mainline Exodus saga. A-class storytelling. 9.5/10.

Started playing Dragon's Dogma 2.

15hrs in, it is fun, but optimisation issues persist. I'm playing at med-high settings at 1700p or so w/o any upscaling. FSR quality mode has no improvement in fps. On my i5 12400 + 7900GRE rig, I get low 50 fps in cities, but get 90+fps in most other locations. There are many unique & interesting mechanics, but there are a few annoying mechanics as well.

Graphics is not 2024-like, considering the poor performance. GoW Ragnarok & Horizon Forbeidden West looks so much better. I have put a HD texture mod & a reshade mod to improve stuff a bit, looks better now but there are issues like shadows shimmering which mods can't fix I guess?

I will complete the game for sure, but in terms of recommendation, do not buy now. Just wait for more performance patches & a deeper discount, like in steam summer sale 2025 maybe? Play other games.

you are bottlenecked by your CPU, that 12400 is just not powerful enough to drive the game in towns, RE Engine is not really optimized for open world games and it shows in Dragon's Dogma 2, specially when AI NPCs come into the picture

Dragon's Dogma 2 has an abrupt ending, I felt. It makes you feel like the game is still starting out and you are still doing the early missions but then suddenly, after one particular mission, you'll realize that its the last mission. So just a tip, make sure you are exploring all the major cities and getting all the vocations (mystic spearhand is the most fun) as early as possible.

I know there's a CPU bottleneck on my rig, but say a 10-year-old game like Witcher 3 could handle cities well. So I will still say optimisation issue from Capcom's side. Not like I am expecting 100fps on an open world SP game. Considering PS5's CPU is worse than my i5 12400, they should have targetted 60fps on PS5 at least, but I can imagine how bad it might be on PS5 now.

Maybe just my imagination, but in some aspects, 10 year old Witcher 3's open world (not comparing with remaster but say original) looks better than Dragon's Dogma 2. The reshade mod with vibrancy boost helps make the game look better but I would prefer something in the middle of the reshade & default look.
