Your Gaming Backlog/Progress Report!

DG2 is jank by design and purpose. It's to simulate an old school feel, just like the original, so don't expect any performance patches for it.

Finished Arkham Asylum. Very middling game. Graphics were alright after adding Texture pack + HDR and lightening change via reshade ( + needed to run it in DX11 via a tool). Looks good even.

But gameplay isn't very good today since i have seen much better versions, and boss fights are terrible - repetitive scripted garbage. Atleast i dont care for such boss fights, maybe others do.
Story/Writing isn't very good either, more like a cartoon for children with some decent funny bits here and there. Thankfully this wasn't a long game.
I like Batman, generally media around batman is much better written than other comic book stuff. But not this.

Not the worst game, but its not that good today, even though back then it did something new.

Next probably Arkham city which is supposed to have improved a lot over asylum as per reviews.

I recently decided to play Cryostasis from my backlog. Sadly as technology progressed the game got left behind due to inherent limitations of its time, such as 32bit memory limit. I tried the LAA & 4GB patch, neither worked.
However I still managed to brute force and finish the game. The best way I could describe it as russian Silent Hill. I really had fun playing a gem from my childhood. Plan to play necrovision next, once I'm done with Dragon's Dogma 2.

Fallout New Vegas including all 4 major DLC finally completed.
One of the best RPG. Great dark gritty story. Old game, very buggy but everything is worth it as it is that good.

I started playing Deadpool (2013) today.
It was on my list for a long time, as I quite enjoyed the X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) game, which was of a similar genre, Hack' n Slash.

Finished Last of us Part 1 recently.
Liked it overall, got a bit tiring for the loop of finding for resources everywhere, but combat was good, liked the stealth element.
For me, finding stuff and not ending up using them was the best part . Just do stealth the whole game.
Plus, there are many conversations that the game has with Ellie that you can only do if you take your time to in those quiet moments.

Finished Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and took me 17.5 hours. wow why less people talking about this game. Movie level stuff done to this game. Troy baker is legend and perfectly done superb job playing Indy. If you have capable hardware to run this game everyone should try this. No bug found in this game. Ran with DLSS quality mode on 4k. 9/10.

Going to start Stalker 2.

Played Prince of Persia Warrior Within and this game has some of the best sword fighting I've ever seen in any game ever. Also great time travel gameplay mechanics and amazing platforming.
It even has two or three twists that completely ended up changing the meaning of the entire story and multiple endings!

Wow!..This is 20 year old game...kaunsa planet mein tha bhai.

Played Ghost of Tsushima for a while. The game looks beautiful, combat is cool with so many techniques.
Otoh, missions feel like fetch quests mostly and the open world is basically empty with just repeated things. Somehow I am not able to enjoy this game.
Time to probably uninstall.
