Your paypal a/c is limited error

I tried to buy something using paypal after a long time today , and received the above error message , my a/c is currently verified but i have not added PAN & bank a/c , is this the reason i am getting this error? If i only make purchases and dont receive any money then why should i add PAN & bank a/c.
 
Bank A/C is not mandatory, not too sure about PAN. However, they do block accounts once in a while to 'contain fraud'. You can write to them, or else log in to your account and see if there is some pending action against your account
 
Try adding a different credit card and see if it works. I had the same issue, and adding a card solved the issue temporarily, and a mail to their customer care took care of the rest. Calling them up is the best option though. They try to be helpful, and most of the times do address the issue

Did not work with another CC, i added PAN and Bank a/c as well , they still have to verify the PAN
 
I guess it has gone mandatory to add bank details and PAN to remove limitations

After adding PAN IIRC paypal will get it verified.. One done it is resolved

After adding bank account paypal will send 2 small amounts on your bank account.. Small like Rs 1.20 etc. One receiving it in your account you need to note down both of them, come to paypal and mention those amount correctly with decimals.

If you enter correct amount your Bank details will also be called as verified and will be resolved.

Hence, Limitations are removed
 
I have added Bank a/c no, purpose code and PAN no. After two days, it says that PAN no. cannot be verified and now it is limited. How to resolve this? I have entered PAN no. correctly.
 
I too faced the same error sometimes back, i tried adding my PAN no, but it said as invalid :S

Since i don't use paypal much, i haven't tried it again.

Anyone with the same issue?
 
I entered my PAN and it got verified..

Just take care your PAN no. details and Paypal acc details match...

Still problem, better to take help of Paypal itself
 
The name in your Bank A/c & PAN should match with your Paypal A/c Name. Else they'll limit your account.
