Mobo: MSI X48 Platinum C-14000/-
Proccy- C2Duo E8400-8500/- (I would suggest a Q6600)
Gfx-ATI Radeon 4870-19000/- :) (Price quote is very high....u can get it for 17k)
Monitor- Dell 24"-19000/-
Cabinet- Cooler Master 690-4500/- (Its 3.8-4k not 4.5k)
500GB Western Digital HDD-4300/- (I would suggest to get a WD 640 GB for 3.8k)
RAM: Transcend 2X2 GB -Rs.5500/- (Again price is way to high...get a Corsair 2x2Gb for 5.3k)
Speakers:Altec Lansing 5.1-Rs.5000/-
Keyboard: MicroSoft 1000 Curve-Rs.800/-
Mouse: Logitech MX518-Rs.1200/-
Optical Drive: LG DVD Burner-1300/-
PSU: Corsair 620W-Rs.6500/- (Again price is high its max 6.2k)
Colling Fan: Cooler Master Hyper TX2-Rs.2000/-( Not sure if i really need this cuz the 690 cabinet by default has two 120mm fans i guess)
Not good choice ...better to get a Sunbeam Core Contact Freezer for 2k
Whoever gave u these rates might be taking u for a ride....renegotiate or source from somewhere else

^^Well when u don't get something locally ...get it from online shops...

People get stuff from US without warranty.....

Getting it from Indian online shops with local warranty is much better option

E8400 is fine.

Instead of single 4870, If you feel comfortable with dual card setup, you can crossfire two 4850s. Palit 4850 is selling for around 9.3 in TE market section. Two of them are within your budget.

Prices of RAM that your dealer has quoted are atrocious. So bargain hard. In fact for 5K you can get high-performance memory modules from RAM makers like Corsair or Gskill.

Hard disk prices are also extremely high. In 3.8K you can get 640GB WD Caviar

CPU cooler is advisable. Sunbeam Core Contact Freezer will be a fine choice. or if you can manage to procure Xigmatek HDT-S1283 that is also a very good option.

Not too sure about any of these. But RAM is easy to ship and you can get some very nice modules from Newegg via KMD (for KMD, look in market section at TE). It may even save you some money.

here are a few RAM modules that I would consider:

Newegg.com - mushkin 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory

Newegg.com - mushkin 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory

Newegg.com - CORSAIR 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory

Newegg.com - CORSAIR XMS2 DHX 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory

But I would say first decide you motherboard.
One that is final, go the mobo manufacturer's website and download its manual. See what kind of memory modules this motherboard supports and what kind of voltages it can take. Also, in the manual you may find a list of supported memories and that may make your job of choosing memory modules easy.

You may not necessarily choose one from that list, but it will give you an idea about the kind of memory that this mobo supports out-of-box.

with the motherboard, you can definitely go for 4850 crossfire instead of a single 4870

also, check out the asus p5q series of motherboards...the are on the p45 chipset and are a little cheaper :)
