Google has updated the YouTube app for Android . The app brings preloading feature for Android 2.2 and above which was only available for devices with 4.0 or above .
The preloading feature , temporarily stores video data on your Android phone and lets you watch YouTube videos (even high quality ones) without any interruptions. The Subscribed videos and videos in Watch Later playlist are preloaded when there is Wi-Fi connection . Once preloaded , the videos can be played even when network connection is weak without any pausing .
The version also includes some UI changes and the Watch page has changed a little , the channel store has more channels and videos can be queued up to be played later .
