Youtube on ipad/android

Since past few days, I see an issue while playing youtube videos on the ipad/thrive tablets. Lot of greenish artifacts (at times, the whole screen goes green) show up on videos. I wonder if anyone else is facing a similar issue? I play videos in 720p.

Same here. It got to the point where the constant ads became unbearable. I have switched to Youtube Vanced completely now, both on my phone and droid tab.

you're talking about microG ? you only need micro G to be able to log in a google account into youtube vanced. If you just want google without loggin in, you dont even have to install micro G[DOUBLEPOST=1549299288][/DOUBLEPOST]

Absolutely no root required. Just install apk and its done
 
I just watch youtube on my iphone on duckduckgo browser. I dont know what ads you guys are talking about. :cool:

Ya microG and its useful when you want to bookmark videos and manage playlist.

My question - Is it safe to install 'Micro G' tools, I need my customization (History, watch pattern) - Else I'm seeing only soft porn and clickbait videos in the home page.

What scrambles on your page is the output of your past history. Youtube will never suggest you pron or murders by default and for a new account unless your past history says so.

My YT usage is

1. Tech
2. Automobile
3. Political News (Indian / US / World)
4. Future Science
5. Fact-Based Topic / Report
6. Documentary
7. Alternative Medicine (Food As Medicine)
8. Copyright Free Music
9. Videography (Not Vlogs)
10. And some TVF / TSP which is now shifted to the Fire TV Stick

instead of all this, the app shows the soft porn and click bait videos from Bangladesh / Thiland etc...If I need porn I will not bother soft and I'm definitely not look at YT. :)
I think the app read my location which is less than 100km from Bangladesh Border and suggested all these.I hope If I'm able to log in to my acoount it goes away.

no, actually youtube homepage is cancer by default in india. set location to "global" to get decent recommendations.
