z550i or w300i

I have zoomed in on these 2 for a 8k (approx) budget cell with music player and internet access (standalone and as modem with PC)
w300i - Rs 8500
z550i - Rs 7300

From what I have read on techenclave and elsewhere, both phones are nice but the w300 keypad is a difficult to use while z550i lacks memory slot (or does it?) and comes with little memory (not sure how much).
Here are the pluses of each. Please help me decide -

W300i -
walkman software with megabass (are the w phones that superior over the z's in terms of music?)
256 mb card bundled
USB cable bundled
IRDA (this should not matter)
EDGE (need your input on this)
HSCSD (have no idea on this)
z550i
bigger better display (should matter for internet usage)
more usable keypad
better camera (not really a criteria)
less price (can I buy the USB cable and extra memory to negate the price difference?)

Z550i has memory expansion as well. In fact, both models use the M2 stick which is horrendously expensive. The W300 at least has a 256 MB stick bundled. In general, the W phones let you put your phone in music mode only, making it possible to use when you are on board an aircraft.

I don't think the W phones are superior for music if you are going to listen with the same earphones. They have good speakers and better bundled headsets.

Why don't you also look at the Samsung X700? Has got some decent reviews.

if cam is NOT a criteria, then W300 is better.. .but usually i regretted getting a vga cam after seeing the pix from a k510 :(

hey guys, thanks for the input. I found that that 256 stick + usb cable would cost 1500, thats not worth it. Really the pro's for the 550i are the higher resolution (not bigger display - the diff is negligible) and better cam (contemplating after greenhorn's feedback). Edging toward w300i now.

Hey Emil, thanks for the input. I actually decided to go for the w300i coz of the bundled accessories. And I have absolutely no either with the keypad or the display. Think its a terrific phone.
Am averse to Samsung phones ... think they are overpriced for the features offered. That holds true for nokia too ;)

I understand. I on the other hand, am averse to clamshell and slider mainly because I believe they can't take bad handling as well as a candybar.

And no matter how much you care for your phone, it is going to go through some hard times :)
