Went to nehru place today looking for a psu to repalce my existing generic 350w. I saw this 400W zebronics psu in the plain silver casing (was very lightweight:no: ) and the +12v rating had 20A on it??? Is this psu the real deal cause it's only for Rs450.??

My Psu budget is about Rs 800

There are different versions dude. They need the generic ones to compete with companies like Intex, Frontech and Iball (ever looked at the ratings on those PSUs) for informed buyers they have ranges like 400 W plus (with the green sticker) And Diamond and Platinum series. I guess Rahul knows all their flavors, so check up with him before you end up buying the el cheapo PSU.

dude all the generic brands are light weight :P they certainly don't use reliable materials( you'll notice when you start overloading or overclocking)(as for my stock computer, I don't need anything more than what I have) . thats why you see forum members recommending use of Antec or higher grade PSUs .
