hi guys,

anyone here using zenith computers.i want to know quality of the TFT monitor :huh: they supply.my manager is going to buy an zenith computer and he wants my advice.the moment he asked my advice the only thing in my mind was TE :hap2: .so guys can u advice me on zenith computers.

OMG, Zenith computers IMO are totally crap, infact my dealer at Lamington road said they buy second hand RAM to reduce thier cost. I would pick an assembled rig anyday over.

good info :hap2: can u pls tell me the quality of the LCD they provide.my manager wants to go for branded rig any other good brand u can suggest

Instead of Zenith and other dabba companies,go for HCL.Its superb.

^^ I second that. HCL makes decently good quality PCs, including TFT monitors. BUt, the TFT monitors are plain-jane models only. Dont expect too much from them.

if HCL added more RAM to their computers they would perform much better..they still cant seem to think over 256 mb :S

as with all branded PCs, min configuration starts with 128MB RAM. but the consumer has choice to upgrade RAM upto the max supported by the mobo.

^^Seconded... HCL gives pretty decent stuff. I ordered quite a few for my lab in IIIT Hyd. I especially like the powersupplies they give with their machines... Even the cheapest models I've seen have a 300W Enhance PSU. Enhance is excellent... they are the OEM for Silverstone PSUs and everyone knows the reputation of silverstone. Once we ordered 450W PSUs and surprise surprise... we got Aopens... the same as FSP460 PLN psus... At that time, dual rail was unheard of and they gave us these FSPs with EPS and 18A dual rails

. Even their elcheapo athlon 64 cases seem to be made by the same OEM as antec cos the internal design is exactly the same as the slk 3700BQE/3000B. Their onsite service is quite good too... replacement of dead parts in less than a week, though their support engineers suck and have no clue what they are doing
