Laptops cheap, small laptop with firewire?

I am looking for a small and lightweight laptop (sized like the ASUS eee pc) for use as the processing environment of a mobile robot. The EEE pc seemed perfect for the job, but it lacks firewire support (essential because we need to use the Bumblebee2 stereo vision camera with it). Is there any way I could add firewire support to the eee pc (AFAIK it doesnt have a pcmcia slot) or else find a similiar sized laptop with firewire support?

Andrew, Thanks for that link. Sorry, I forgot to mention one thing, the OS will be linux based, which is why I wasn't too optimistic about the usb adapters as they were all XP only, and may not even be able to meet the bandwidth/power requirements of the camera?
