Budget 31-40k Is this a good deal?

First time buying a Second Hand Laptop.

Seller quoting 33k for this. 2 years used.

Well, just saw it's a touchscreen so maybe not but still. I'd stay clear of anything 7th gen because it's certainly not 2 years old.

Try Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 series. i3 10th/11th gen CPUs with FHD display, 8GB RAM and SSD configurations available around 35K. Very light laptops and perfect for casual use and entertainment.

I suggest you to wait for a new deal online. as @enthusiast29 suggested. Don't fall for TouchScreen. Its not much used when using daily basis. You won't find it worthy. Also getting new comes with warranties which is your additional benefit.

If you can get below 28K then decent. Also it depends what kind of usage you have in your day-to-day. 7th gen i5 is way too slow, especially if its a laptop.
Remember Intel 7th gen processors were released in 2016.

Do not go for anything below the 8th gen processor from intel. This gen onwards they had revamped the processing and efficiency.

As others have said, this is a terrible deal. For context, I sold my Asus TUF Dash F15 with a 75W 3050 and 16GB of RAM for 41.5k. it was 11 months old with 1 month warranty left.

Adding to my previous comment, if possible, extend budget your budget. There are some decent laptops around the 50k mark.

Folks, I believe there is a misunderstanding here.
i5 7th Gen does NOT have Iris Xe iGPU. This was only introduced in Tiger Lake/11th Gen mobile chips. Additionally, the MX350 wasn't even introduced during the 7th Gen era. MX350 launched much later, was usually paired with the i5 1135G7.
And to add on further, 7th Gen Intel chips do NOT support Windows 11.
So with all this, I believe that OP meant the i5 1135G7, which the deal pretty good.

for media don't get the lower-end laptops like the IdeaPad 3 etc., the display is not good - not just this model but most budget laptops under 40k will suffer from a poor display.

Wait and keep watching and you will get better deals.

Right. Iris XE only came with +11th gen CPUs

A 2 in 1 with 16gb ram for 33k is an amazing deal. I think the 2022 version has pen input too and costs like 75k.
