Budget 41-50k Looking for a bang for the buck touchscreen laptop

My main requirements are a long battery life and a detachable screen which I can use as a tablet. Might be difficult to squeeze in this budget but I'm willing to stretch it as far as 60k. Stuff like screen size, panel tech, keyboard size/quality etc. aren't a huge issue since I have an external display and keyboard/mouse I'll be mostly using it with anyway. Would prefer at least 8 gigs of RAM and an SSD, won't be doing any heavy multitasking on it, mostly watching YouTube videos and coding, just want to make sure it doesn't hang or stutter during those tasks. Gaming is not a concern, so any spec decisions regarding that are not too important. Warranty and customer support are important hence I'm not particularly interested in buying anything used unless it's still in warranty, since I'm planning to use it for quite a few years and would like to have that peace of mind. Haven't bought a laptop in over half a decade, no idea what the market is like now but just in case, I don't mind it being on the bulkier end if it means a lower price or a larger battery

detachable screen laptops would be difficult in that budget. have a look at the MS Surface series. Check your location aspect too, with MS, service can be an issue.

Am currently living near Delhi, so hopefully servicing isn't an issue. If touchscreens aren't feasible I'd still be happy with a solid laptop under 60k

ASUS Vivobook 15 (2022), 15.6-inch (39.62 cms) FHD Touch, Intel Core i3-1220P 12th Gen, Thin and Laptop (8GB/512GB SSD/Iris Xe Graphics/Windows 11/Office 2021/Blue/1.7 kg), X1502ZA-EZ311WS https://amzn.eu/d/a0fUfDA

Not that great processor, but it Gives a Touch.
Very Light compared to others. 1.7KG
For the Display its mentioned :

"Display: (39.62cm)15.6-inch, FHD (1920 x 1080) 16:9, LED Backlit, 60Hz refresh rate, NTSC: 45% for non-OLED, Glossy display, Touch screen, Screen-to-body ratio: 82 %;"

IPS is not mentioned , but a Great marketing strategy to misled customers with the word " OLED".

I don’t think detachable will be possible in that budget however, you can get this laptop from hp that can rotate to become a tablet ish form.

The hinge should be good based on the experience of friends that owned it. There is a higher 512gb variant on amazon for 59 currently to.

These both look like great recommendations. As long as it's touchscreen I'm good. The Asus laptop looks better or equal in all aspects I care about compared to the HP except for the battery life, which is half of HP. I'm open to other recommendations too, as well as any recommendations on when would be a good time to buy these online at the best discounts, if anyone has any suggestions

I believe the Lenovo Flex is going to serve your purpose well. Doesn't have a detachable screen but does flip into a tablet.
I have used lenovo laptops in the past and loved it for its built quality( a must for 2 in 1 laptop).
Also has the ryzen 5500u which should be sufficient for the tasks you mentioned and more.
With card offers should be well within your budget.

It is indeed a touch model.

I was in same boat as you, and ended up buying Dell Inspiron 14 (i3 12th gen, 8 GB RAM and 256 GB SSD). I checked out IdeaPad Flex 5 but it was slightly out of my budget. Flex has better build quality though.

Hp pavilion x360 convertibles has the best touch screen you will never regret esp. wrt display clarity, sturdiness, ample of ports, gliding touch etc.
I personally own one so can vouch for it!
Once you get hands on, you will never opt for anything less than it..
