It does have rated capacity of 105 kg, may make you feel better, I am about 5'11 and around 100, the chair so far is more comfortable than the Venturi due to the cushioning. The Venturi can take loads upto 150kg. It is early days, but the Mika seems comfortable to me. Have spent about 7-8 hours over the weekend on it.

Thanks. Actually I am only most concerned about the headrest comfort and the back support/cushioning. Weight didn't bother me as much as my doubt about support and rest for my head/neck and the back. If the backrest is not high enough and doesn't reach my head/neck then it's a problem

The shipping and installation is extremely professional, as for the timelines, I got my chair delivery within a day! The shipping timelines are worst case, you should get it before that. Also, they will call you requesting a delivery slot, based on the slot, the product will be delivered and installed. This is my second purchase experience, first time around bought a computer table and venturi chair, this time just the Mika, both times extremely professional and great experience overall. FYI, there was something wrong with their card machine, since I was getting late for office suggested to pay online, I couldn't make the payment during the week, and they were pretty patient about it.

I am going to go with a white and black theme for my Ryzen box, so went for the white chair as well. So far so good!

That's great to know. I ordered on Saturday so did not expect it to ship before Monday. Tracking today shows that it shipped yesterday (Sunday); and I hope it is here by Wednesday.

Thanks but they seem to be OOS...

? Both are showing as in stock for me, with option for adding to cart. Maybe a pincode thing?

Possibly pin code issues.

@Julian I have been using the chair for around a year, the chair seems solid, I am pretty heavy. The wheels on the chair are quite smooth. The lock and tilt function work decently well too. The chair can hold upto 150kg. The only downside I find is lack of cushioning, still very comfortable and decent lumbar support, I sit anywhere between 3-6 hours on weekends, if you want more cushioning, please look at the Mika variant. Also, if you do plan to go with the Urban Ladder, please use my referral code (YOUxME_Jaskaran_IQ26QR), you would get 20% off and I would get a voucher too.

UL seems to have reduced the discount on that code from 20% to 10% :-(

How is the featherlite Liberate chair? It looks fancy with side bends and flex lumbar support. Will it be sturdy and lasting one ?

Hi guys,

Been scanning reddit and quota for posts like these. Looking to buy a chair with good back and neck support My budget is 10k.

I am in Nagpur and they have one featherlite outlet here. I liked two chairs here : Talisma HB and the Contact Flex (both older models which can be found in the 2015 catalogue : http://www.featherlitefurniture.com/drupal/sites/default/files/pdf_documents/Chair Cat_2015.pdf
)

Two other "fast moving" chairs are the Astro HB and the Anatom HB (HB = High Back) which will be in stock in 2-3 weeks for me to check out.

Do you suggest mid back chairs over high back chairs ( read that MB / LB better HB long term) ??

Also, Is the Mika chair on UL better than featherlite chairs in terms of build quality, VFM , comfort etc.

Please reply,

Zach

I have Astro -MB from featherlite. It's very comfortable and i'm using it from past 4 years with not trouble until now (only the lumbar support cap has fallen off 2-3 times from last year- not an issue thou) but sitting continuously for prolonged hours (esp in summer) feels like the bottom is getting hot. Good lumbar support and can be adjusted moderately. I went to shop to buy Ergon only but bought Astro due to budget and one more reason which i dont recall.
Ergon is an upgrade of Astro. If budget permits take optima, this one i tried it in the showroom and was so good but, its very pricey.
Lower back chairs may cause back pain on prolonged use or if you tend to lean completely back. Mid back is good if you're resting only your back. If you want to rest your head also then take High back ( this is good when watching movies especially)

I'm confused wheter to buy Featherlite or from Chairwale right now. Featherlite seems to have only 1 year warranty chairwale has Astro like models for 4-4.5k. I'm also looking at their 'royal' chair which has any tilt lock and adjustable headrest for 6k. It seems these companies buy from some wholesale dealer. So I'm not sure what quality of Chairwale would be in general.

If you're in Nagpur, there is a shop at Yashwant Stadium that sells chairs. You can try out their range in person. The prices are decent after some bargaining. Quality is decent too. Plus you get service. These guys assemble from imported parts. I've got a few from them, and planning to get more for office.

I don't have any experience with Chairwale but Featherlite I'm sure as something similar they use it our office too and its comfy and also great during summer due to mesh.
