@ALPHA17 thanks :) will keep that in mind and will leave the GPU purchase pending ... will i be able to watch HD movies even without a GPU ?

Yes, the Intel HD2000 iGP is sufficient for those purposes. It can even stand as a temporary graphics solution [no gaming] if your discrete graphics card decides to nose-dive for any reason [hope this not happens ever].

@ALPHA17 thanks again will go ahead with the purchase without the GPU , on HD 2000 can we play games like protype at minimum settings ?

As i said before Sapphire HD7850-16k OR MSI R7850 Twin Frozr 2[Factory Oced]-16.5k would be two options. If you want factory oced then msi twin frozr is the way to go and you can overclock the factory overclocked gpu.

Yes a factory over-clocked GPU can be pushed further. Factory over-clocks are generally limited to the memory speed with a minor bump to the core frequency so the difference in performance is not very wide.

For a good HD7850 which will over-clock well you can look MSi's Twin Frozr series OR get a stock card from Sapphire and start pushing them.

Hope this helps, Cheerio!

@ALPHA17 i am planning to wait till the launch of gforce gtx 660ti and if price around 20k will grab that one only .... I was checking the spec of the 660ti , it's memory bus type is 192 bit only which is lesser than 7850 ... so how well can 660ti perform in comparison to 7850 and what's the effect of low memory bus type

Earlier nVidia cards [upto the GTX 2** days] had cards with extra-wide memory bus but after the initial release of Fermi [GTX 4** series] this got scaled down because current generation PCIe slots provide more than sufficient bandwidth at lower bus width and this means a lot of energy saved.

For more on the topic head here -- Bus Width Vs Frequency Vs Memory - Graphics-Cards - Graphic-Displays.

Under most circumstances anything above 128-bit memory bus is more than enough for a current generation mid-range graphics card. It is only if you opt to head into multi-monitor setups OR EyeFinity mayhaps then you need a lot of extra bandwidth to cope.

@ALPHA17 what is the cost to performance ratio for both the gfx card 7850 and 660ti ?

What does this mean?

Avoid such flighty terminology, it sounds good in a technology magazine but to common folks it just compounds the issue. If the GTX660Ti releases for ~18000/- -->22000/- in India, it can cause widespread price reductions for the HD78** series cards and then we shall have a completely reorganized market scenario. But if the card is more expensive than the HD7870 then no point going for it. Stick to the HD7870 and over-clock it to kingdom come is the mantra.

Hope this helps, Cheerio!

Instead of getting Antec VP550P get Seasonic S12ii 520W-4k OR CM GX550W-4.4k
Get 1TBX2 instead of 2TB as 2TB has more failure rate than most.APC 600VA won't be good enough for your pc as it'll shut down as soon as power cuts.
Get APC 1.1KVA-4.5k it'll give you good stable 10-15 min backup.Try to find Nzxt Gamma-2.4k if possible.
Everything else is fine.
