Tablet with Good Video Capabilities

Hi

I am planning to buy a tablet under 15k.

Features required are:

Watching 1080p,720p movies @ high profile.

would like to play some casual games such as angry birds,paper toss etc.

Sim capable(not compulsory)

Capacitive Touch,

I looked up some options but dont know of their x264 capabilities.

Kindle Fire

Blackberry Playbook

Micromax Funbook

Ainol Novo 7 Elf(from merimobile).

Both the kindle fire and blackberry playbook run on TI OMAP 4430 and have similar prices except more storage space for playbook.i dont know their video capabilities.Funbook uses cortex a8 possibly the same as ainol novo 7 ie allwinner a10.allwinner a10 has good video capabilities.

Any recommendations ?

I would recommend elf, but Mumbai customs has infinitely delayed my ELF (stuck there for a month now), so I would highly advise buying from India itself. You can go for Xtab A10 or Veedee d10e as well- good cheap options. If you want high res, blackberry playbook at 10k or kindle fire might be better options

Go for playbook, It has great capabilities to play full HD videos with easy,. It has got IPS display and awesome touch response. Can record full hd 1080p videos too.

As you have 15k of budget, I will suggest Ainol Nova 7 Aurora why because it has 7inch LG IPS panel display with 1024X600 resolution. Viewing angle will be lot better than normal lcd display. Its selling ebay around 12.5K. Go and get it

But it has limited app. support. In terms of hardware no doubt its very good and end of the day, app availability is what matters. Android OS is far far better than Playbook os.

Its very good performance tablet. Its specs is just mindblowing
