Because the one I sold to you had flaws and I want something flawless
EDIT: Just want to clarify here that I never said that I didn't like it. I said that I need money to clear off my credit card bill which was more than 1L at that time due to my card audio upgrade.

The screen would go bad soon and the battery voltage varies heavily (which impacts the longevity)

I thought that as well in the beginning. But he is not.
I had a chat with asheet, He is indeed having screen issues with the phone. And now from his comments here it looks like he knew it all along that there was problem with his phone, and sold it like that to avoid hassle of RMAing phone himself.

I was simply trolling and trying to scare him since he didn't pay me the said amount in the form we agreed upon. I drove more than 50km in my car to hand over the phone to him, waited for him for like half an hour there and this guy at the spot screwed me up saying that he'll pay me partly in cash and partly as Ticket Restaurant coupons. I clearly told him in PMs as well that I am selling the phone for the money I needed but still he came back with this. I was with my wife and didn't want to create an issue so I didn't give him the piece of my mind at that instant. I agreed for the coupons since he told that I can use them at Big Bazaar for my grocery shopping He even told me that he was using them there which kinda made me agree to his unjust offer. Later when I went to do that, I had to be embarrassed since the coupons weren't accepted there. I was so pissed off that I offered him to return the NOTE and I even offered him that I'll pay for the return shipping (mods sure can check the PMs).
Don't get me started but I would never wish to transact with a person like him again. For his age, his behavior is quite immature and let me put it as "childish". I lost the bill and sent him a soft copy and this guy didn't agree to that. He didn't agree that the oft copy would work even after I told him that I've done a zillion times before(I meant getting various items RMAd with soft copy of the bill). I even had to create a thread on TE to seek the public opinion about the authenticity of the soft copy of the bill.
This guy is a skeptic who'd always has trouble believing simple things. The phone that I gave him was in absolute pristine condition (had to sell it since I needed to offset my credit card bill of more than 1L which I spent on my car audio upgrade).
He later agreed to get the coupons back and send me cash but having seen how this guy had behaved I thought that its not safe to send him coupons and then wait for the cash from him.
I wanted to tell it all to everyone but then I thought this guys is in his forties and it wouldn't give a good picture about him and also because I didn't want to drag this thing too far. I had to spend the coupons on useless dominos pizzas which was the only store accepting the coupons. Essentially it turned out that close to 3 grands were paid to me in pizzas than the hard cash which we agreed upon. Also the feedback system wasn't working at the time of sale so I couldn't even do anything about it.
Now if this guy has some problem with the stuff, why not tell me first. I was the one who sold him the stuff, right ? I still say send the stuff back to me, with all the accessories and stuff and I'll take everything back. i seriously wanted to avoid telling this all in public but I really couldn't stop myself now.
And BTW Sripad do you really think if I'd have conned him, I'd come in public and tell that ? Why I did write those troll statements above was because i wanted to insinuate how pissed off I was with the transaction that I had with him.

Well, at least both sides of the story are out. It felt really odd considering you chose to post here like that. We received report from asheet quoting your reply in this thread which seems to go along the line with what you said. Never joke around in market. Seriously it creates misunderstandings.
To be honest, if you have any problem with any deal, always post on market feedback? Why? to avoid exactly this. And to reach amicable solutions. And most importantly to get the facts and voice of both parties involved out.
I still dont know who is telling the truth, but to moderators, a different picture was painted. That is the sole reason I chose to post here even when my sale is done.
If you want, I can move the discussion to Market feedback thread. Let me know here or drop a PM if you want to add anything.
To be honest somewhere I wanted this ruckus to be created. Didn't want everyone to be involved in it though. It was meant only for Asheet and that too was done when he quoted my post and asked me that question. I replied in a random way, without being serious about it. Funny thing is even Asheet liked that post and then later we heard he went to the mods with that reply of mine
About moving to another thread or not, I don't think it'd do any good. I really don't want to pursue that thing any more so I'd leave it up to you. Though I'd be interested in knowing what's Asheet' story and probably his response to this.
Actually I've never been across with anyone like him before (and I've done numerous deals on multiple forums). But its all cool. Not worth spending any more time.
Hi Guys...I was out due to holiday & saw these posts now. So Let me put across my side of the story :-
1. As luck would have it, I had to travel to Delhi just around the time we closed the deal on Note. I asked Sushant the night before I was to travel to Delhi if he will take Food copuons. It was well past midnight & he just responded that he will meet me at airport. So I carried the coupons. He offered to come to airport as he was to goto Delhi for his own work. He said it is a small detour for him & he is fine to come to airport. I was in no position to push him for coming to airport.
2. He met me at the airport & showed me the Note. However the Bill & the promised no of Screenguards ( as per Post 8-10 but actually 4-5) were not given to me. I offered him coupons as they are also like cash. I had 2 books of Rs 2750 each & he agreed to take one book. I paid balance by online Bank txfer while with him & he confirmed rxpt. Again he accepted the coupons just like I accepted the note - a deal.
3. He assured me that he has the orig bill & he just forgot it & I agreed that he can courier it. When I called him again after coming back to Mumbai, he told me that he has lost it & he will get it fresh from seller. I wonder how seller can give a new bill but decided to wait. Then he told me that he had bought the phone on ebay & not from Samsung gallery. On my request, He sent me a copy of email which he had sent to ebay seller asking for a duplicate bill. There was no response from seller for few days & I was restless - chasing him for the bill. I asked him for his ebay rxpt but he didn't had that.
4. Then from his email to seller giving ebay tranasction details (Ebay ID: buyingallthetime12126 Paisapay ID: 30323719568 Item Number: 250944339841), i cheked ebay & found that he has never bought anything in Dec’11. That again raised fresh doubt in my mind of the authenticity of the deal. But I finally got scanned copy of RETAIL INVOICE & not a Bill. I asked Sushant of ebay invoice which he would have rxd as email. He couldn’t produce that till date.
5. Meanwhile, as luck would have it, there was some dispute between food coupons company & Big Bazaar & they stopped taking coupons. So Sushant got in touch with me for exge of coupon for cash. I told him to send me the coupons & I will pay him by bank txfer. I also sent him website of Ticket Restaurant so he can look for a suitable store. I waited for him to revert but he never reverted.In meantime, Bigbazaar issue was resolved & they again started taking food coupons. So I know for sure that he would have used them. All this is recorded in PMs & emails.
6. To summarize, against the promised items as per deal thread, I didn’t get a Proper Bill & 4-5 screen protectors till date & my Note is having screen issue & battery issue from time I started using it in Mar'12. I took up them with xda forum & was getting tips to chk settings etc. But then when I saw the response from Sushant, I was shocked. My worst fears had come true. I never doubted Sushant till date on Note quality & hence never reverted to him with the issues.
Shripad & Eddy - You have seen the so called Bill. Do you think Samsung will accept that as Proof of purchase for warranty ?

That retail invoice IS the bill, if you don't get it Sir. The IMEI, the date of sale is already there in it. Also you had the seller's details which I forwarded to you, can't you confirm if the sale was made or not ? Also when did I say that I bought the NOTE from Samsung Galary ? And how does buying from ebay makes the NOTE inferior to the one boguht from the store ? Baseless assumptions I say. Also you already have all the transaction details, what more do you want ?

I gave you Samsung Original Flip case (unused), Original MHL Adapter (costs more than 2K), 32GB Sadisk card (costed me 2400), Zenus Carbon Black case (costed me 3600), OTG cable for which I paid odd 600, Amzer Luxe TPU case (costed me 350) and gave you screen protectors which I had (costed me like 300 for a set of 10). Yeah that sounds so unjust that I mentioned 6-7 screen guards and you got only 4-5???? But your paying me in coupons is fine since they are as good as money. Makes perfect sense.
And yes whatever I sent to you as the scanned bill was what was sent to me. As I mentioned, the IMEI code, sellers TAN number and date of sale on the bill are the only things required.

And why don't you just explain what are the issues you are facing than saying I had issues from day one ? As far as I recall i had amazing battery life and zero screen problems. Only difference was that I was on custom kernel and when I gave it to you, I restored it to latest samsung official ROM. I clearly told you that.
Any way, I would not want to initiate this mess again. If you have any problems, go to samsung customer service and get your phone replaced. If you can't, send it to me, I'll get it done for you. If you can't handle it altogether, send it back to me, collect your cash (after some reasonable depreciation) and be done with it all for good. There are more mature and reasonable people out there who can take it later.

3. When you buy on ebay, the bill rxd by you from seller has your complete postal address & contact nos as the item is couriered to you. How come this Invoice has only a name & is still delivered all the way from Amritsar to Gurgaon???

The phone has same issues which Sushant stated.
1 Poor battery life. Have to charge atleast twie in a day
2. Every few mins, a flash of light travels across the screen - just like a wave. So If you are in middle of a webpage or a doscument or pdf, you automatically gets back to top left hand corner of the page. Same thing happens if you are using file manager or any app for that matter.
3. I have 5 diff phones & I use them as per my reqt of that day. Note is used more when I travel so I can read or browse. So my DN is activated for BB BES, iphone and UnLtd Data Plan. So I dont face any issue no matter which handset I am using. It costs me but then I don't have hassle of data not working on a particular handset.

These ebay dealers are known for this. Bills like these are what lot of them issue and they are fine. These are computer generated invoices. When you ask for a scanned copy, they will just take reprint and stamp it again and send you the scan of that.Folks....

They dont always put the complete address and other details. See my invoice of Note (this is actual invoice sent to me with the package, i have just removed IMEI, invoice number and my complete name )
I bought 2 note from this same ebay dealer. Both invoices are like this. And I had no problem RMAing my other note using similar invoice.
Just take your phone to service centre. They have record of the purchase with them. Samsung dealers have to take one sticker off from the box and apply it in their sales record book which is then submitted to Samsung India and it enters into database.
When I went to RMA my note, the lady pulled my Complete name from system just from IMEI number.
If the bill is not genuine or altered, they will know and you will know.
