Hey guyz,
I am currently in the process of buying an IEM... my budget is around 1.5K.

I will be using them while jogging...so comfort and build quality are of paramount importance to me. Also, it should fit properly in my ears.
After reading all the discussion in TE, I get to understand that E30 in the best one in this price range.
So, my question to all of you is -
How is the build quality of E30?
Does it fit well? I have small ears. Should not fall off!
Does it provide good isolation?

Please help me guyz! I do not have any prior experience with IEMs.
Also, if the answer to any of the questions is NO, kindly suggest some alternative in the same price range or lower if possible.

Thanks
Aadi

EDIT - I have read some reviews on the net where the users complained that some Soundmagic IEMs (PL-series) does not fit properly in the ear canal and keeps on falling off. This is what is making me nervous about going for Soundmagic. Proper fit is most important criteria for me along with sound quality, of course.

Anyone????????????????
I am planning to go for PL-21 .. will order by today or tomorrow.
Any replies is appreciated.

Have you tried any IEMs before? Which of them have you found comfortable? That might help.

Build quality is decent. Nothing extra-ordinary. The cable is rubbery, housing is plastic. But in most cases, as long as you take proper care of them, they would last long. I have read about numerous failures of SoundMagic PL series within six months, but also have a friend who is using PL30 for over 2½ years as his primary day-to-day IEM.

Fitting should not be an issue. The housing is small and should fit most people easily. They are comfortable due to their light-weight. But they are shallow fitting and cannot be inserted deep like straight barrel IEMs. As long as you choose the correct size tips and use the proper insertion technique as described here, you should do fine. But, as a side-effect of shallow fit, they would not isolate much. But, wouldn't a lesser isolating IEM be more suitable for jogging than something that blocks all ambient noise?

Many thanks for your reply.. really appreciate it.
I do jogging mostly on treadmill or insider our apartment complex which has dedicated jogging track. So, traffic is not an issue.
Normally there is some music played in the gym which I do not like...so isolation is very important to me.

If not Soundmagic, can you suggest something else keeping isolation, fit, comfort and build quality in mind.
I am not an audiophile and can compromise somewhat on the sound quality. Also, suggest from where to buy as have realized that sourcing IEMs can be a big issue.

Any opinion on JBL in tempo earphones?
