Hi All,

I want a tablet, its just for watching movies and magazines.

Screen should be gorgeous and with superb viewing angles. If the memory can be expanded in any ways(Mem Card, Pen drives) then sweet.

Budget has to be the lowest as possible.

And at-least 5 hours of battery life.

Though of Ipad 3 Wifi and Ainol ones. But I dont want to spend 25k for a tablet. :(.

Any help appreciated.

I would prefer a 10 inch screen... but if a 7" screen is that gorgeous then yea....

Playbook?? what is the OS..?? and really for media?

yea I knew about the conversion for playbook. Exactly why i was surprised it being recommended :).

will check the Cube review out.

If you wanna buy a 10" Lenovo Ideapad K1 tab, let me know. I have one to sell.

Its 32GB internal & 64gb expandable with cards & Wifi.

I dont want to spend too much money for some stuff i never get to use.. :D ...Best ones for these for the lowest possible amount.

why dont you then get a FUNbook?

BB playbook is fine.. its heavy in the hand though and as other members pointed out, you have to convert to play certain formats.. Irritating though.

I own PB but can not recommend for OP requirement. My TV supports more format than this (and the sound is low IMO). Not much options in video player as well. Its heavy in hand but for movie you'll feel same for every tab (can not hold it for 2+ hours right), so you have to take a cover/stand for it.

But I recommend PB for many other things. For movie at present, a strict no.

I will suggest you to get Ainol Nova 7 Fire.

if OP wants it only for reading and movies and not HD games then even 512 RAM would be ok

P.S. Read in forums that the 1280X800 res of the Fire makes text on the screen small for reading

read it somewhere on slatedroid.com, cant find the post now

Still 1GB ram is future proof. Who knows if OP shows a interest in android gaming or not!!.
Btw with 512 MB ram, web browsing totally sux. I know because, I have Micromax Funbook with me.

About Fire's small text, you can increase the Font anyway.

No Micromax ones. Build qlty plain sucks.
And NO BB Playbook, I just want to copy the files i want to play into the device and watch em. No conversion etc. One the reasons, I dont want to go for iPad. Personally, I think its the best tablet. But just too exp and too much hassles to get things done.
Yes, 1GB ram is definite requirement. Used to have one with 512, so this time 1GB only.

iPad is expensive for sure but if you can jailbreak it then you can have VLC player and use that to watch any video format.

I'm surprised y no one is suggesting HP touchpad !
You can dual boot it with android and webos:) install what ever player you want .. and its cheap available for ~10k, it fits all your needs think abt it. IMO its the best VFM tab :)
