lol this is what i am saying , if this dealer is selling "100 % original authentic versions of " colognes like Aqua dio gio for 1400 , and armani code for under 1800 , and world class fragrances like Chanel no.5 for 2500rs , let them be even testers, you should start a retail outlet at say mumbai or delhi , you will surely be the best perfume retailer in India . That guy ( im saying about dealer , not the member ) surely wont have the guts to do so , because he himself knows hes selling diluted versions .

lol mate you cant find christian dior scents for under 2k even in duty frees i think , you should have made out from the price itself that its a pure fake version.
I myself bought a 30ml left out of 50ml christian dior dior homme for 1.5k lol . Scents like J Adore , Dior Addict , Dior Homme etc are in the top rated fragrances in the world list , you can only find fake versions for under 2k .

hi guys i am sorry for the late reply but i was very busy with my work. this thread has really become a mess. neways this is what happened. i was suppose to meet rivunited on mon but he cancelled it as the dealer was not available but finally i got to meet the dealer on tuesday. i will share my exprience with all the members but i dont want anyone to hold me responsible for anything. Am giving my opinion based on my research. There were 2 more members from techenclave who were suppose to come on mon eve but as the plan got postpone one member could not make it. so 2 of us first met rivunited and then he took us to the dealer. This is for all the user who really want to know the truth If you have any question please ask me but DONT SPAM MY POST because i drove bloody 2 hrs (oneway) to get to the dealer's godown and also have wasted my time in doing some research.
1. My first point to all the member RIVUNITED DOESNT BUY PERFUMES FROM MR. ATUL GUPTA OR MR. AJIT GUPTA and i dont know how the hell the packages had their name (may be they are magician) but i dont care because rivunited doesnt even buy perfumes from the dealer he works on commission basis where he get some amount per bottle.
2. The dealer is a WHOLE SELLER and is not interested in opening his own shop.
This is what happened when we went to his godown we were shocked to see that he's not a dealer only for perfumes but he deals in lot of imported stuff like Branded jeans, shoes, shirts, T-shirts, designer expensive pens, wallets,ladies bags, zippos etc. etc. the dealer is verywell aware that riv united is selling his products on T.E and also on some other site ( rivunited did'nt wanted me to mention because of the mess here, rivunited told me that he started selling on that other site few days before he started selling here and its going well. Infact the dealer must be arnd 45yrs old and he has a nephew who has just passed out college and has joined him with his buisness and he is the main contact for RIVUNITED ( not MR.ATUL GUPTA).
This is the dealer's story he said he has 2 sources outside India which supplies perfumes to him and one of them is in UAE and mode of transportation is shipping. He claims all his Products are custom cleared ( which i doubt) but he showed us few custom reciepts which we had never seen before, looking at it one could tell its got something to do with custom but we did'nt know those reciepts were for perfumes only. I wanted to click pictures of that reciepts but he didnt allow me.
Coming back to the perfumes, there were many many bottles of perfumes in some plastic kept together in many cartons ( there were atleast 20 cartons ) i took pictures of those cartons, jeans, shirts n sme more products. i dont have it with me currently since am away from home but i will post it soon. we tested around 10 different bottles and found it to be okay( may be i dont know to test orignal perfumes) but they were pretty okay. I Fired him with many question and he answered all of it very patiently.
Out of the many bottles we saw some of them had testers printed on it and some of them didnt had it and some bottles were in very bad conditions so i asked him WHY?
the dealer said that he orders around 3000 to bottles in a month from his source out side india and he gets all the bottles (all the brand) at the SAME PRICE but out of the the 3000 bottles many bottles are in a condition which he cant sells because some of them has leakages, cracks etc. he says he has complained lot of time but every time he recieves a consignment he has this prob and some of them come without testers. And thats is the reason the price fluctuates evertime he order( depending on the number of bottles damaged and the price he has to pay to get it out of custom).
He also said that he gets random 3000 bottles of branded perfume (that means he cannot order specific bottles) he himself is not aware of the bottles which he will recieve the most common one are the one which is listed here and that is the reason for the availibility issue ( unlike ebay seller who never has any prob with availibility and has double the number of brands than what rivunited is offering).
he was well aware of what is happening here so he had bought few duplicate bottles( ADG, davidoff coolwater, issey miyake and sme more) to show us and asked us to compare it with his product. his products were obvisously better. He also said that its not possible to find such good duplicates not in india not anywhere.
i asked him when he has so much of contacts in custom why dont he deals with boxed perfume so that people will not have a problem.?
he said perfume is not his only buisness he is mainly into garments and it is very easy to get boxed perfumes in bulk. Many boxed perfumes sold in india are from UAE and are transported by shipping only. There are hundreds of them who buy boxed perfumes for UAE and they are are well established. He has managed to get a contact for unboxed perfumes at a very good rate. he says he knows his perfume has some defects ( but he was talking about external damage according to him the juice inside is absoutely orignal) but at the price which he gives people are very happy and dont bother about minor defects. And he Knows people who deals in sealed boxed pieces in india and he can arrange for a sealed boxed piece at 20 to 30 percent less on MRP. RIVUNITED HAS ALSO MENTIONED ABOUT THE BOXED PIECES ( which i wasnt aware unitil rivunted told me and its true) and there were few members who bought boxed perfumes from them. But most of us went for tester becoz it was very cheap.
the dealer say that he has ordered 7 consignment till now and have sold over 10,000 perfumes and he also supplies to shops in mumbai, bangalore (he gave me the address of the shop in mumbai) but we wont find it to be so cheap bcoz in a way we are directly buying from him. He cant make this as his permanent buisness because he his not sure about the availibity of it. sometimes the shipment in stuck in customs for a month. he also said you can get boxed perfumes as cheap as rs1500 (out side India) if u order in bulk and have the money to invest, getting it in india is the main problem. Based on what i saw and researched i'll give my opinion and conclusions.
1.Rivunited is 100 PERCENT HONEST AND INNOCENT. rivunited himself didnt had so much information about the dealer unitl we met the dealer together. He is just a college kid trying to make some pocket money in a FAIR WAY. we all had options of buying sealed boxed perfume but everyone wanted to take a chance with the tester and check it.
2. And i dont understand why some members are cribbing about the price. It is very much Possible to get perfumes at these prices outside india. Because of my profession i keep travelling abroad and had bought many perfumes specially from dubai. Dubai shopping malls are cheaper than dubai duty free.Eg.1) Lindt chocolate at dubai duty free comes for 35 AED ie. aprrox rs 500 but in india anyone can easily manage to get that chocolate for rs200 that doesnt mean its duplicate. Eg2) i had bought bvlgari notte (boxed piece not a tester) 3months back from dubai mall for rs 1400. Infact more than 30% of the perfumes listed here can be bought at cheaper rate outside india. specially davidoff coolwater's price in dubai mall is rs 750, all CK collection, azzaro chrome. All the members who has travelled abroad, specially dubai, will know the fact its true.
3)After meeting the dealer and looking at everything we( myself and the other T.E member) have a strong reason to believe that all these perfumes might be factory rejects and he has a source outside india who manages to get them and send it across India and that might be the reason it differs from orignal.( Dealer didnt confirm this its just OUR opinion). Becase one thing is cleared that these perfumes do come from outside India.

Guys am not supporting anyone. If Rivuntied was found to be guilty i would have ripped him but looking at these post i believe some people are just trying to make up different stories. May be they have some personal grudges against him or they cant see him doing so good here at T.E or whatever. Rivunited did mention about the dealer since the first GO, we all knew he is not the main supplier and most of us were shocked to see the prices and thought something might be fishy but still all of us ordered thinking we can always return him the perfume if we din like it. We know that Rivunited is pursuing his CPL and he is not an official perfume supplier. so even if there was some problem with the perfume its impossible rivunited would have known ( the dealer must have shown Rivunited the best lot of perfumes with no external damage, proper bottle cap etc.) The best thing Rivunited could do was to offer us the FULL REFUND if we were not satisfied with the product. So i dont understand why blame him for evrything.
The dealer said that he will welcome any user from T.E who wants to visit his godown. I would ask some more members preferably mods who reside in mumbai to check it themselves and stop this nonsense going on this thread. Also the other T.E member chose to stay hidden because he doesnt want to be a part of this mess i tried to convince him to write atleast something or atleast to agree on what ever i posted but this was his reply to me " The only reason am here is because i have purchased 14 bottles from Rivunited and i wanted to verify its authenticity i dont care what is happening on T.E and i have no complains from rivunited and i feel sorry for him but am too busy to help him".
This dealer is something and he also wanted to sell branded shoes, jeans thru rivunited on T.E. And i can bet my life on it that they were orignal, packed in orignal company plactic with proper tags. All the member on T.E across India would have benifited from this deals. ( even though he only sell bulk pieces i managed to get 2 jeans for myself). But thanks to some oversmart members who kept on speculating informations and were determine to prove rivunited wrong.
More than 100 members have purcased perfume bottles from Rivunited but only few of them have problems and rivunited is willingly giving them their refund. But still they have a problem i dont understand the reason.
IS THERE ANY MEMBER ON T.E WHO HAS HAD BAD EXPRIENCE DEALING WITH RIVUNITED IN TERMS OF REFUND OR EXCHANGE PLEASE SHARE.
I think MODS should step in now stop members from posting who has got nothing to do with this thread or who has already recieved their refund. Every one knows that there are only few members who instigated this and @daredevil man ITS TOO OBVISOUS NOW STOP ADVERSTISING FOR MR. ATUL GUPTA.
Rivunited has manage to find a dealer who directly get his goods from the docks. Otherwise from the docks it goes to the distributor, then to retailer, so the final product when it reaches us is obvisoulsy more expensive. In near future GO could have been the best thread on T.E where members across the India could have managed to get not only perfumes and many other stuff at a rate impossible to get at a retailer.
Well i have never written so much in my life there were so many other points which i wanted to mention but i forgot. please guys i was in hurry but still it took me an hour to write all this Please excuse my typos and grammar. any member who would like to speak with me over the phone and want to know some more details i would be glad please Pm and i will be happy to help them. The main problem here was people with half knowledge TESTERS DO NOT COME WITH CAP generally nozzle is covered with a round plastic or paper. So i always knew these are not the proper tester and that is the reason i dint participate in GO1. but looking at everyone comment i was forced to try few perfumes in 2nd GO and i was satisfied and happy. I dont care instead of 12 hrs it only last 6 hrs ( my 2 bottles was absoutely fine but some member had prob with longivety) but these are not FAKE and for the price am paying it saved me some money, am very happy and will continue to buy from Rivunited.
MODS there in no way Rivunited should be ban. its pretty clear now some members dont have a problem with the product but with rivunited and thts why even after hey got their refund they still choose to spam the thread.

Wow, i dont really care if you write essays for proving if the seller/GO organizer is innocent or guilty as hell. Bottomline is the products i received are 100% fake and highly diluted and you only come to know about it after a little use and comparing with the original. This GO's title should be edited stating that "products offered can't be verified for authenticity and one should buy at there own risk" so that innocent noobs like me don't fall prey. Then even not refunding the money would have been okay as the buyer knew of the risk beforehand. In this case people have been taken for a ride, duped of there money definitely by the so called dealer, and i am sure half of them have no clue till now. Anyways i'll have nothing to say once i get my refund. Sourcing my bottles back that i had gifted.
God this has to stop.

Why drag this out so much? I wasn't happy with the watch price. I didn't buy. Simple as that. he moved on, I moved on. 98% of the buyers here no nothing about perfumes. All just want to smell nice. Guess this does that for a cheaper price and the priceless feeling u are wearing a pricey scent for cut rate. I think everyone wins.

How about the priceless feeling that you've been cheated and are wearing some cheap fake, which smells a little like the original and more like alcohol? And people here still paid a lot of money for the fake. Its not like it came at a ridiculously low price. Somebody must be laughing all the way to the bank.

hey @ plikmuny i can get davidoff coolwater at rs 500 in my city but i have never bought it so don't know whether its original or fake. And honestly looking at the price i will never even take a chance to buy one. i wonder if its original are they stealing it from the factory lol. and when i was in dubai this may i saw few tester bottles there is a different market for tester bottles you dont get in a normal mall and i remember the prices for few bottles being the same as rivunited has listed. And also i had bought 2 bottles in go round 1 and i was satisfied that these are original testers. and srsly if you are looking for some cheap perfumes pls pm me i give u an address where you can get ADG for 900, 212 sexy men for 600 but you have to figure out yourself about the originality. And no offense to any one but i feel rivunited is doing a gr8 job by giving us this deal at least am very happy. he is the seller he can sell davidoff for rs 5000 and you are the buyer its your choice to buy or not if you can get it somewhere cheaper please you are most welcome to buy but please stop spamming the thread. If you really wanted to inquire about the reason for the difference in prices you could have pm rivunited instead of a post and thts the reason i doubt your intention. This is a tech forum and all the users here are quite familiar with browsing and specially ebay. Again no hard feelings and i don't know rivunited at all i have just interacted with him once regarding perfume but let him do what he is doing and people who trust him and can afford the prices will get it from here. And also pm me if you are interested in buying some cheap perfumes online i can give you some addresses . And last thing i have to say is, take a look at this link below. the original price of this watch will be approx above 1.5 LACS and here its rs 5000 from a power seller. but you have to figure out whether about its originality.

hahahaaha.. You seriously think a pilot working for Jet airways would sell perfumes for few thousand rupees profit. Think before you speak. And you can really makeup some stories but a flop one. Why dont you ask someone from techenclave who resides in mumbai and is your mate to come with us and check it. Infact anyone from mumbai you know not only from techenclave. ( If you really want to know the truth). but you are busy doing something else. It wldnt take me me few seconds to prove you i dont know rivunited i can send you a screen shot of the mail when rivunited had first given me his details here on techenclave during second go. and i dont wanna waste time on all this bcoz lot of members might be counting on me and the other few who r actually making an effort to go and visit rivunited's dealer. am the buyer too and a member on techenclave and you got you refund so LET ME DECIDE WHETHER I WANT IT TOO OR NOT MY WAY NOT YOUR WAY BECAUSE ITS MY MONEY NOT YOURS. and you will see what i do if am not convinced with rivunited. And stop making up this dumb stories and let me do my job.

and i have mention it was a mistake that i wrote GO1 on post no.100 because i didnt know it will come to this where I have to prove myself. And looking at this i understand why othere member chose to stay hidden.
And you tried to show it together to prove me wrong.

And one Last thing i would like to mention again more than 100 members bought it few had problems got it refunded and replaced.
If i was the one not happy with the product. i would have posted my exprience took my refund and ****** off. I dont have time to sit all day long in front of the computer to destroy rivunited's image. You call me his buddy well NOW AM HIS BUDDY. 90% of the members were satisfied and i would go with the majority.
Again about my essay even if one random member from T.E decides to visit the dealer would know the truth i have nothing to fear.
i'll be away for a while will reply 2nite or tom morning. unlike some members i have to work and cannot sit on this site forever because Rivunited is not paying me to so lol.

Start reporting posts guys. That way if you reply less then there is a lesser chance that your post will be reported. Probability.
