Guys really urgent help needed.
My sister is coming from US on 9th. Leaving from there on 8th.
Want to bring 2-3 iPhone 5 here , one for myself , other for a friend, last one if possible then only.
Help me out with the best online cheapest deal available in US which i can pay from here. Or do u suggest ordering from Verizon.?? Even they are factory unlocked i heard.
The main concern is it shud reach here before 8th.
Looking to spend around 40K per phone. Thanks.

I would suggest your sister to go to a verizon store or AT&T and buy full price phone and get it outright. With how the shipping timings are, i doubt you would get it before 8th of this month. Better go to a brick and mortar store and buy.
In case she buys AT&T model, please get it unlocked from AT&T themselves then and there.
And yes Verizon is GSM unlocked.

Recently my friend was back from San Fransisco and he got an At&T full priced iphone for 649$ . The tax in india + customs and price to unlock it takes total price to whooping 50k and that to without warranty makes it a really bad buy . I had posted pics of my iphone in the daily show off thread . It waould be good to wait for a month for an official indian launch .

You will save some money only if your sister can bring the phone as her own, so that means, discard box, remove accessories, keep phone in her purse etc and bring.

^ I got 2 4S about 6-8 months ago with box and all accessories but yes phone should be kept in pocket/purse if you wanna get it cleared from customs without any duty
