The most important aspects here we see are.....
1. The seller might be true , And it might have happened the way he has described.
2. If he has read all the FIR stuff, and people planning to visit his place and screw him up , he mite have got scared and the phone which was already with him only (he didnt ship it anyways) , made a story that phone tracing etc etc and he has got the phone back from DTDC guy (Guys , this is not that simple as it was presented) , God knows what , Cz he hasnt showed up the first reciept guys..!!
Anyways Dear Masterpradeep, please refund the buyer his amount asap.
 
Below are the possibilities

1) DTDC guys stole it. So the seller should have a FIR copy or some missing complaint from the police. Ask him to post you a copy to verify his story.

2) The seller is making up stories. He kept the phone to himself. Realized after reading this thread that his address can be traced and local TE guys can give him a visit, he has decided to give you a refund.

Anyway get a refund first and let us know if he is able to produce a complaint copy that his phone is lost.
 
Friday(26th Oct) 2:30 PM: Seller messaged me "Got The phone just now"

Friday(26th Oct.) 3:27 PM: I asked him, Will you refund the money today?

Friday(26th Oct.) 11:15 PM: Seller said - Phone is in the same condition... do you want me to send it through Blue Dart or you want refund??

Friday(26th Oct.) 11:15 PM: I told him, please initiate the refund.

Saturday(27th Oct.) 5:17 PM: I asked him that did you refund the money?

Saturday(27th Oct.) 5:22 PM: Seller said, Yes transferring in 15 minutes.. from hdfc bank

Saturday(27th Oct.) 8:20 PM: I asked him, any update?

Monday(29th Oct) 12:56 PM: Seller said, transfer done

Monday( 29th Oct.) 12:58 PM: I said him "Thanks"

Monday(29th Oct.) 2:17 PM: Seller said - I will mail you my address, please send me the box back.

Monday(29th Oct.) 2:18 PM: I replied him - Definitely

Today(30th Oct.) 12:29 PM: I said that I have not received your amount till now.

Today(30th Oct.) 1:25 PM: I said "Dude are you listening to me?"

Today(30th Oct.) 1:26PM: Seller said - give me 20 minutes, i will check

Today(30th Oct.) 2:54 PM: I said that it's more than 20 minutes now

Today(30th Oct.) 3:20 PM: I asked him that are you listening to me?

Today(30th Oct.) 3:57 PM: Seller said - I will send you reference no. of the transfer...please call your bank

Today(30th Oct.) 4:08 PM: I asked him - Why am I having so many problems in dealing with you? I accept amount daily via NEFT but didn't received your amount why so?

Today(30th Oct.) 5:09 PM: I said him - Dude I know that you have not transferred the amount till now, I have to take legal action now, just wait and watch... Enough is enough (EDIT: At this time, i received the amount from one of the customer too, It's just I didn't received the amount from this seller aka Mr. Masterpradeep)

Today(30th Oct.) 5:21 PM: He said - Boss I have please have patience, I'll sort this....



I swear if I ever deal with MasterPradeep in my life again. This is the worst experience by far with him....... This deal was happened on 9th or 10th of OCT.
 
Really feel sorry for you BRo, for having to go through all this for no fault of yours .... I hope all this gets sorted out and you get your peace of mind back soon enough... also thanks for the heads up and regular updates, you might have saved a lot of TE members from dealing with such a person in future !!!!

What I feel is the seller is fishy.

First of all, he was saying that I am transferring the amount on Saturday and on Monday when I messaged him several times and tried calling him too but he didn't pick up the calls so on Monday he said transfer done so I have not received the amount till now whereas I have received amount from customers means nothing is wrong with my bank account, it clearly means seller is lying or he is not ready to refund the money??????

When I messaged him just now that it is now getting on my nerves and tried calling him but he never picks up my call, he only talks via sms.

When I sms'ed him that pick up the call so on this he messaged me - Boss if you don't get the money by today, first thing tomorrow morning I'll deposit the cash to your account..... you send the transferred amount back to me......


Guys, you don't even have an idea that how much mental stress I have because of this so good seller.

I request to all the TE members that never ever deal with this seller in your life. I am the example for all of you :)

Hey man, feel really sorry for what you have gone through, I personally feel that the seller should be taught a lesson and also an example to other potential scammers, since you have the resources and contacts, please follow through and take him to justice.

I really hope you get this sorted ASAP. All the best!
 
The Phone was not Stolen By DTDC guys ,Thats definite. If it was , ask him to send the first reciept. Oh crap that man !!ask him to fckn refund your amount. I am getting so stressed now hearing all these what you are going thru. If i was in your place i wud have visited his place, took very strict action against him and boxed his face !!. What if such scammers open other account on TE? They can again fool someone like this. Guys very important Please deal only with people whom you know are on TE from long time and are Trusted.
 
NEFT some times takes times . If you dont receive it by tomorrow afternoon then may be the seller lied .
Public sector banks usually take time . Transfer of amount as low as 5000 took 4 days from public sector bank to My HDFC account .


Did he provide you the txn reference no. ?

Ps - Before people blame me i am not the seller nor related to him .
 
That's just something new, NEFT doesn't take time, if there's Sunday in between then probably next working day else Max 6hours during the NEFT working hours i.e. 9am to 6pm

No, He did not provide me any reference number of the transaction...

He did not even provided me the DTDC Plus receipt which he claimed at first that he did ship it via DTDC Plus. At the time of booking, all courier service provides the slip.

Even if he provides the slip, it will not prove him innocent.

Courier guys provide blank slips to their regular/bulk customers. I have seen DTDC, Blue Dart and Trackon's blank slips in a friend's office and I picked up a blank Blue Dart slip (all 3-4 copies) just for fun.
 
So, @abhi_jollyguy, have you got the money back? If not, I think you should just talk to some TE members over at Bangalore and ask for their help. There are quite a few at Bangalore and this guy can be easily traced and taught a lesson. It's because of such people that online deals are always eyed with suspicion.

Regarding the DTDC guy stealing the phone, that's a load of bull. You think someone from DTDC will tell him that "Hey, you know what, This guy in our office stole your phone!!! Come over, collect it and let's have a drink!" ? If Aysakant's ordeal is anything to go by, it would take a lot of effort to even get DTDC to admit that some employee tampered with the package, leave alone give the phone back. I'm telling you...this guy is a big load of bull. :mad:
 
After reading everything, it is clear, MasterPradeep is the one who created all the DTDC scene. He is the one who shipped you an empty phone. Do you have his address? Share it here. Members from Bangalore will help you. This is the right time, this guy should learn a lessen.

You should file a complaint in Police Station. This is not a small amount.
 
TE member "kekerode" has given him a positive rating after picking up a PS3 from his place. So, he should know his address I guess.
@kekerode , please help the buyer.

Abhi, Now is the high time to take very strict actions, afterall it has been nearly 20-25 days and now if you don't take action then rest assured that the money has gone as bad debt.
