Ok, I was one of the guys who was supposed to get this phone locally as I stay in Bangalore.
I gave him my number as requested but never got a response.
Not that I doubt seller's intentions but I think buyer should inquire all possible scenarios. Unless he clears it, he surely is making things difficult for himself.

@abhi_jollyguy I will suggest not to wait , its high time you should take some action the seller is a pure scammer as he have already tried to fool two other fellows on TE as mentioned by our TE fellows karankapoor and atibrewal plus if the seller is not a scammer why he is being so silent he should be active in the thread and dude wake up if one is sending his 18k Phone to some place other , he will always do by BlueDART and if not by it ,one can go with DTDC Plus and i guess that cost more than 95 bucks + DTDC person asks what is there in the box before shipping it and mobile phones are only allowed to be shipped through DTDC Plus man .According to me the seller is total Scammer and without making any further due you should take some serious actions .And mate whenever i sell any item and ship it , i can't sleep until get the response from buyer that the product is being received and in your case the seller have not been active .Bro cut the sellers crap and take action. Just praying that your matter gets solved asap.

I messaged him on phone that the wait is over I am going to file an FIR against you, it will get done by today only. So on this he replied, Boss I am already in police station, I am taking them to the courier shop, I don't understand what complaint you will file when I have already told you that you will get your money back if the phone is not traced......please have patience, I will update you.

Ask him to come here and discuss in public. He had time to create a fs thread but not to follow it up once the situation is mess?
If the seller has not declared the packet contains a mobile, I think there is very little police can do anything against the courier company. Even if I ship brand new mobile, I have to give declaration it's used mobile being sent as gift / repairs.

Having read the entire thread I can safely say Seller has scammed you instead of DTDC Courier guys. The Courier guys can't change the type of service the Seller has opted for. For example a DTDC Plus won't and will never be changed to DTDC Lite even if product takes 6-8 long days to reach your doorstep. The Seller has originally sent the product via DTDC Lite and it normally takes 7-8 days to receive product.
Ask DTDC Office / head Office for clarification and I'm sure you'll know who has to be blamed for.
Also, to all my Fellow Members, You can send Graphic cards, Mobiles to mid size packet via EMS Speedpost with Insurance and It'll cost 1/3rd or maybe 1/4th of what DTDC charges and it'll be shipped to you within same 3-5 days with perfect tracking facility. I've sent two packages and received 1 via EMS and I'm impressed by their delivery time.

He: first of all today is bank holiday here, you are only thinking about your money, what about my phone?? i will end up losing both, you will get phone or money by friday evening, send me your account no. this courier manager is already all the centers and collecting delivery boys details... i hope it gets traced.

Dude, i understand your concern. Be patient. If he is true, i am sure he is in hell lot of worries than you are bro. And worst case scenario if he is not, you have your contacts. Let's hope for the best. TE is with you. And incase if his was an SBI account, pm me, i could help you get his address and other details.

Incase the seller is genuine and has a SBI account hen you'll have to wait till tomorrow for you money. Cuz it takes around 16 hours to add a 3rd party account for transfers.

What sort of reciept the guy has sent you. No date of booking, no name and address of sender. WTH
Go to your nearest dtdc outlet and get the detailed tracking for the consignment. DTDC calculates the weight of the package every place the package routs at. This will clear things for you.

I have emailed the DTDC office where the shipment was booked to know the complete information regarding this shipment.
