Does the seller have the so-called "original" shipment receipt which starts with "V"? If not, his story sound quite fishy. If he has it, clearly DTDC is the culprit.

Hmm.....so 2 different shipping #, Ask ur local dtdc office for the copy of shipping receipt and check the weight of the package on that receipt.

Why the seller is not responding here why is he hiding ?

If it was shipped through DTDC plus then how come the second receipt doesnt start with V code?
Stealing a product would still not leave any traces, but changing the tracking id and the code would definitely put them under the scanner. And i seriously doubt that DTDC people are that dumb. I mean imagine that they know they are stealing a product and an inquiry is bound to happen. Still they dont bother about all this and change the tracking number which would obviously cast aspersions on the shipping company? It's highly improbable.
It is highly unlikely that they were able to get away with the shipping code altercations as this is managed through softwares these days.I personally feel that the seller's authenticity is to be questioned in this deal. Also why did you have to pay the whole amount before hand?It should always be 50-50. 50% before the product is shipped and 50% after receiving, that ways you could've at least saved 9k.

Still the biggest question that stands here is that if and if the seller is true then why he is hidding and not posting a pic of the receipt of the courier, i think the seller is not bothered about your trouble or if he is only responding and replying you personaly then he is scamming otherwise he should have came here and tried to solve this issue.

I still remember a similar issue with a member called Ayaskant12 (probably) regarding the sale of a Dell Streak which was sent to Kerala, using DTDC. In that case as well the buyer received only the memory card and charger but not the phone. In that case also, he was asked by DTDC to collect it from their office. However, he made it a point to open the package in front of them, and refused to accept the package. The thing that worked for the seller here is the fact that he had declared the contents of the package and had got it insured for the declared value (18K or thereabouts). After a long discussion that spanned several pages in which both the buyer and the seller updated members on the developments, and the members here, simply dived in with some VERY GOOD opinions, the seller was paid the insurance amount by DTDC with which he refunded the buyer.
What strikes me as fishy here, is the fact that the seller, NOT ONCE responded to this elaborate thread, where members can only help him if he is not playing false. So Masterpradeep, please come here and clear your part of the story so that you are not branded a scamster, and if you are indeed playing false, there are several ways to reach you, so be warned. There's still time, come clean or refund the money.

95 bucks to ship a 20k phone? Thats like 1st place on being a cheapskate Mr. Seller. Or is it just a base charge attached for this fresh B shipment cause the original V shipment failed?

Why is the seller so quiet anyways?

The seller is giving every indication of being a scammer by remaining silent. I remember similar case a couple of months back on IVG where a member tried to scam people by accepting payment for a 16GB IPAD from 7 guys and then shipped it to nobody. He tried to remain silent but guys at IVG used their contacts to scare the little bugger who in the end refunded everyone within the week. Key element was that one of the victims had plenty on money and a lot of time to kill so he got the address of the scammer from bank, flew to his city and then urged the IVGians in his locality to join him to pay scammer a nice visit. Which they gladly agreed. Then rest is history.

I think that the seller is fake because AFAIK DTDC guys simply won't accept mobiles and other electronic stuff under their regular shipping i mean Lite here. They suggest Plus or blue for mobiles how can OP ship such a costly phone with the cheap regular 95 buck shipping or he is thinking something fishy since the beganing :23:

dude 95 bucks for a 20k phone ?are you serioius? i shipped my mouse and mouse pad for around 350 bucks without using DTDC PLUS. Dude stop waiting and take immidiate action!you are being scammed!

@abhi_jollyguy, How long are you planning to wait? Give the seller an ultimatum. He needs to clear his position here very soon....

I have shipped so many mobiles thru Dtdc. Even for a 200km distance they have charged me upwards 150 I just cannot digest the fact that a person has not declared the value and shipping at 95. And with so many couriers , I have never ever encountered the fact that a courier company has changed the awb number. I suggest write to Dtdc cust care if such an incident has happened. Also the tracking number originally supplied would be active on Dtdc tracking page .

It tell u which phone was used with ur account last and when with date.

Edit- U can also find the imei numbers of the phones used with gmail account but iam not able to find it, I think someone here can tell us more about it.

I was one of those 7. And like said in this post, due to some dhamki to the scammer, we got our money back.

Would like to add my small experience with this seller. He had listed an iPhone 4s some 2 months back here on TE. I showed interest in it and was about to buy it. Everything was fine till then. Next day I got an update that a friend of mine was traveling to Bangalore. So I decided on getting the deal done face to face. I informed pradeep of this. Since then he stopped responding to my calls and the deal just got canceled. I have all reasons to believe that this is a pure scam.
