Yes it is on iOS6 so only Apple Maps are there and alternatively you can get Bing Maps or Maps+ from App Store. For google Maps ,web app shortcut can be created.
 
^ Cause I am really good with clicking snaps and seem to have got every spec of dust in the picture =)).

What you see is normal level of dust that gets collected around the phone's glass edge and connector slot.
