Look sir,you having sent the product even when he didn't want to take it would be like a forceful sale...Don't you think so?
And also if you mention the shipping cost as a particular figure it is expected that you take only that much and no more,if shipping cost is not known, one should mention "as actual" or something like that.
So you didn't have money for refund, fine! You could have told the buyer to give you a few days to arrange the money...
You could have found another buyer soon.
This way you leave a bad taste on the buyer's mouth.
Just think what if you had ordered something from an online store and had prepaid the sum required which included shipping, but on delivery you realise that you have to pay a huge amount as shipping cost. Wouldn't you feel cheated?
I accepted Rs.4500 because you said Mahavir computers were selling the same cabby for 5.k (but Mahavir said 6.25k when I asked them about the price later on.) and not 6.2k buddy.
What if he is getting the cabinet for that amount.Even if he lied, you still did agree on the price, didn't you?
So maybe you came to know he was lying, you could have told him to pay more or the deal is off. You can't force one to pay more, that is absolutely against any ethics and rules!
I confirmed the same with Srinivasan but he refused but by then I bought an another cabinet and transferred all the contents to my new cabinet and called the courier fellows to my door step to ship it to Srinivasan man.
And just because the courier fellow was on your door doesn't mean you have to ship the product. You could have apologised to him for the inconvenience and sent him off...
Just think about it sir!!
