According to your intended usage a dual core or a quad core wouldn't make much of a difference. The suggested i3 would be better compared to the FX as it will last at least last the next 3 years.
Also FYI FX6300 is a Hexa core processor, i dont even think even the two core of this processor will be even used completely during gaming. Most applications are still single threaded.

My suggestion would be as follows
Intel i3 3220(Dual) / Intel i5 3550 (Quad)
Gigabyte B75M D3H /
Corsair 4GB x2
1TB HDD, (Segate(2yrs)/WD(2Yrs)/ Toshiba(3yrs))
LG/Asus DVD Drive
Corsair 200R/ Corsair 300R

Now if your still bent on getting the FX, this is my suggestion
AMD FX6300 (Hexa)
Asus 970 M5A97
Corsair 4GB x2
1TB HDD, (Segate(2yrs)/WD(2Yrs)/ Toshiba(3yrs))
LG/Asus DVD Drive
Corsair 200R/ Corsair 300R

FYI currently MSI has closed their shop in India, you may still be able to buy products of Msi, but support is not guaranteed.
