AFAIK the site owners bought a tapatalk license. The TE app is a modified tapatalk app.

Meaning we can browse other forums too with the TE app as we do with tapatalk? I was thinking it was a standalone TE browsing app.

Edit: Checked the new TE app. It can be used to browse only TE. The whole point of using tapatalk is to have all the browsing sites accessible via a single app. I browse around 10 forums. It is not convenient to have 10 different apps for each of them.

If you search for TE in the new tapatalk 4 it only shows the old TE logo. Also it is not clear whether its a TE server side issue or a tapatalk side issue..

i seriously prefer the original tapatalk app instead of licensed ported versions for each forum i browse! pity!!!!

I am unable to use it on my droid or iPod man.. "failed to connect to forum. Contact forum administrator if problem persists".. Same thing on my droid running 4.1 and iPod 5 running 6.1.3..
Anyone else facing this?

same for me. ever since i got tapatalk, the TE-app throws up the same error to me, and tapatalk also can't connect to TE, citing the same error.

At the top of the browser you will get an option to open in Tapatalk.. temporary solution..

Just confirming it to be not working on the latest version of Tapatalk. It worked like a week back, but it's not working any more. It's pretty sad since TE is one of the very few forums that I bought Tapatalk to access.

Nope i don't get that, sadly. Tried it with chrome and my inbuilt browser. :/

I got it. Clicked open in app. Says cannot connect to forum, contact administrator!
