Since last few days, Creative sound system not work, depressed sound with buzzing disturbances noice out of it. Even at full volume, the sound is suppressed & almost 70% cutting down voice come out with up and down tone.
I checked this 5.1 system with pairing with mobile and works absolutely fine.
Is there anything changed in audio setting in PC or something wrong in Audio card in PC?

What os are you using? ---- Windows XP

Which program to play music? -- Windows Media Player. Tried on others-PowerDVD, VLC players also..but same problem...

Have you enabled any dsp effects in your player? - nothing.....

Is sound in windows set to 5.1 or stereo?
Sound card drivers installed properly?
Do the sound card drivers have their own application to control sound?
Lastly tell me how have you connected your creative speakers to pc. To which ports?

Is sound in windows set to 5.1 or stereo? --- Its set @6Ch Speaker system in RealTek Sound System. This setting done since begining.

Lastly tell me how have you connected your creative speakers to pc. To which ports? ---- CPU Output lines: 3 Channels goes to volume control nob. All 4 speakers connected to subwoofer cum amplifier which is paired with an AC Adaptor

Well, live on bypass surgery option:confused: till the time, this proves Creative is all right.
Listening by connecting phone, i-pod direct to Audio system by 1 ch gives 2.1 ch output sound.
Suspecting now audio card would be major culprit then. Am I right? or need to check anything.

Local technician removed Creative sound coard with replacing a local 3.1 ch(he said!) system @Rs.550/- in last month. He done all this without informing me, like he is the sole owner!
Voice quality is damn poor & not at all happy with this but trying to live with it.
And phew! y'day again hissing-wind blowing sound noticed from subwoofer only even when player is off. This 5.1 speaker system being always being ON as plugging to gether with PC Monitor, Cordless phone, BB WiFi router power sources.

What would be problem? I checked connection twicely. Ground/Earthing is open in our Apartment with blessing of our owner!

Bump...waiting...

Your local technician is an a$$. Tell him you don't want the new sound card and want the old card back. Tell him to return your money too. Get a new (from pristine note) or second hand sound card from TE market.

NO. I checked Creative system unplugged from PC with putting power ON. Slow wind noise started & gradually increase as time passed with adding "Takd" "Takd" kinda sound. This phenomena ONLY in Amplifier cum Woofer, other 5 speakers are silent without any abnormal noise.
1) Any problem in power connection?
2) Woofer went on dead?
???
EDIT:- Sound card checked with OTHER local shop, found ok.

Hello,

Wind blowing & Distortion sound observed only in Woofer (with 12vAC Adepter+vol control knob) of Creative SBS 560 5.1 speaker sound system. Other 5 speakers (2 front+2rear+1 middle) are in order.

Checked light connection & found Earthing is open in home wiring. Also, there is voltage fluctuation from last 1 week due to major light fault in our area due to rain. Also, checked sound card by technician & found ok. What would be problem I am in?!

well, nothing such ..
the actual problem is in amplifier cum woofer. got it repaired y'day (100 rs.) & in service now.

Tried to understand but he not revealed so.. simply handover ..:p
I observed 1 more interesting point when assembling 5.1 speaker..
All 4 channel (front & back-left+right) is activated while center speaker channel not work.... I'm sure this is result of local sound card installed earlier.. Decided to spare some time for what I have spent.. Later, wish to upgrade with RealTek or Ausur (PristineNote) to juice out Creative 5.1 surrounding sound...

suckkks...
now, the sounds comes in zig-zag pitch, listening ups & downs in mids (vocal).
enough played & set with graphic equilizer, SRS Wow effect, Auto Sound volume levelling-all setting bugs in various mode but overall SQ really sucks with new problem as above. Sound Mixer shows nothing (zero) to system sound while having full indication to Speaker & Windows Media Player sound level.

any check points i should follow?
