Graphic Cards Which graphics card? And which CPU?

planning to buy 1gb graphics card.
upgrading a bit to i3 3rd generation.
very basic usage,please suggest which graphic card i should look for?? and cpu? intel or amd?/

around 12-15k is the budget.
current is core 2 duo processor with only 256mb inbuilt graphics with 1.5 gb of RAM.
use is mostly for surfing,playing games(not to heavy graphics),presentation makings.
monitor is lenovo 19inch lcd.psu no idea sorie

Which code 2 duo processor? Run cpu-z for help on this. also mention the complete config including hard disk, motherboard, ram (size and type) PSU.

intel core 2 duo E4400 @2.00 ghz.
motherboard:LENOVO.chipset:sis.
memory:1536MB
graphics:sis mirage 3 memory 65mb.

ifyour motherboard has pci-e slot then you can get HD 6450 / GT 610 / 520 like cards which are priced under 3k and should suffice your needs. For some better options do let us know about the psu you have.
