Hello Guys!
I am planning to config a gaming PC for myself. Going through the valuable info on various posts I have decided on most of the things. I am not sure about the Motherboard & Cabinet. Please go through the list and give me the go ahead to start buying!

Games I Play?
PES 2014, Dirt 3 & COD Ghosts

The rig I finalized:
1. Zotac Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 Ti boost 2GB DDR5 (13300)
2. AMD 3.5 Ghz AM3 FX 6300 (8109)
3. Asus M5A97 Motherboard (7295)
4. Corsair Vengeance DDR3 4GB (3199)
5. WD Blue WD10EZEX 1TB (4172)
6. Seasonic s1211 520watts (4800)
7. Cooler Master HAF 912 combat Mid Tower (5300)
8. Dell S2240L 21.5 inch LED Backlit LCD Monitor (9744)
9. Logitech MK200 keyboard + Mouse Combo (959)

Total: Rs 56,878/-
This is the max i can go. I would love to cut extra costs if possible.

Upgrade?
Not in 2 years.

Best config for not less than 3-4 years.
 
Prices are a bit high.

> FX 6300 should be for 7500-8000
> Asus M5A97 R2.0 should be for 7200 or less.
> Replace vengeance with Kingston HyperX Blu 1600 MHZ 4 GB available for 2500 on Flipkart.
> Replace cabinet with NZXT Phantom 410 available for 6500 if your budget allows so.
> Logitech MK200 should be for 800 or less, not a penny more.

When you go to shop, don't tell them that you want to buy whole system, just ask them the prices of the parts you've mentioned and never deviate from this config, no matter what the shopkeeper says.
 
Ya I think the prices are high too. I got these from Flipkart.
Thanks for the advice I'll keep it in mind. I will research the local market (Naza, Lucknow) for the cheapest prices.

You haven't added an aftermarket cpu cooler nor optical drive, why?
Is your requirement only gaming? If yes dont invest too much on the motherboard. Get a ~4-5k'ish board and put more budget for the graphics card and get the HD7850 or GTX660 (non-ti). For cabinet try to get the CM Enforcer, its a pretty old model but its as great as its name suggest, trust me.
Let me list down my suggestions (I cannot give your the price quotation because I dont know from where you are gonna buy them and online rates always fluctuate):
CPU: AMD FX6300- 7500rs+
Motherboard: ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3 ~4600rs

GPU: AMD HD7850 or the GTX660 (non-ti)
Sapphire AMD/ATI HD 7850 1GB GDDR5-13700rs link
MSI R7850 Power Edition 2GD5-OC Card- 15500rs

Or you can stick to the ZOTAC GRAPHICS CARD GTX 650 TI 2GB DDR5 BOOST ~12700rs

Case: Bitfenix Shinobi (Window version) ~5000rs. One of the best cabinet in its range IMO.

Or you can go for the Corsair 400R which is available for around 5500rs.
Monitor: Unchanged ~9800rs
Keyboard+Mouse: Logitech Media combo MK200: 750rs.
HDD: WD 1TB 7200RPM ~4200rs
Total: 47650-54600rs.

Add optical drive for 900rs if needed.

Did I miss anything?

Define "cheap". That's called "affordable". I know of tons of people using similar setups but facing no issue till now.
Tell me, does "old" mean bad? I don't think so. If that bothers him he can replace it with a better one, I'm not stopping him am I?

1. Were you expecting to get something at the same price all over India? 2. I've have a poor experience with Kingston service here so do you expect me to suggest something, which I've had a bad experience with, to someone? 3. And obviously its his choice.

Most critical component? Wrong. This can depend on one's personal needs/views. If someone has an imba system with i7, tier-1 board, GTX9990 video card but using an el-cheapo power-supply, would you still say that the motherboard is the most "critical" component?
And he himself decided on a chassis which costs over 6k and I merely suggested him something which costs cheaper keeping in mind what he said

. Heck you yourself suggested a chassis which costs well over 6k so your argument here is invalid.
And yeah before I forget let me have my say on the Phantom line-ups, possibly one of the worst "flagship" series with plastic all over them. I've never suggested any Phantom chassis to anyone and will never do till NZXT control their plastic-usage on chassis.

I'm all in for a debate but do not try to start an argument for argument's sake.

Thanks for reminding about the drive, i'll certainly add one.
Man Even though its tempting option but I don't want to cut cost on the motherboard. I have some really bad experiences with them.
I got awesome prices from the local market for most of the things.
I have decided to put more money on the Graphics card.

My Final Rig:
AMD FX 6300 + Asus M5A97 (13200)
ATI HD 7850 2 GB (13900)
Corsair Vengeance DDR3 4gb1600 (2842)
WD 1TB Blue (4172)
Seasonic s1211 520w (4400)
Dell 21.5" s2240 (9100)
BitFenix Shinobi Window Black (5000)
Logitech MK200 (750)
Optical Drive (900)
Total: 54,264/-

Lastly, please guide me if I really need an aftermarket cpu cooler??

Out of curiosity, if not going to overclock then why spend so much cash on a cabinet ? A cheap 2k cabinet like Antec VSK 400 shouldn't cause any issues unless going for water cooling or something. The 3k savings can be utilized for a faster CPU or a better motherboard.

And lastly if gaming, then why not an Intel configuration ?

This is the best RIG under 58k and if you want to OC then AMD FX 6300 is best.OK.

bah don't mention it. >_> no forum is a good forum without debates, arguments and opinions clubbed together. Ultimately the best ans comes out of all these only.
Honestly though unless i wanna OC my way to paradise I personally wouldn't spend *much* on the board. The choice of cabinet is personal when budget is not a concern. You could even get an entry level model. But GPU wouldn't change much- give or take. An as for the RAM I stand by what I said, unless I decide to give it to another service center located elsewhere.

My last suggestion would be to buy them offline if possible to cut costs. Online rates are generally higher.
