Graphic Cards AMD Radeon R9 270x or R9 280x - help me decide

Hi guys,

I'm confused if I have to get the r9 270x or the 280x, let me give you a little background from where I come

CPU - i5 750
RAM - Transcend 4gb 1333Mhz
GPU - MSI hawk 5770
Mobo - Gigabyte h55m usb 3

5770 did its part for the last few years but since last year I'm not able to max out games in 1920x1080,

Thought its high time for a small upgrade

planning on getting an additional 8 gb RAM & a new GPU,

this is what i have in mind for the 270x: Sapphire AMD/ATI Radeon R9 270X with Boost OC 4 GB DDR5

just wanted to know if the i5 will be a bottle neck if i go for the 280x????

and could you also please suggest me a good SMPS for the new config?

Will I be able to play watchdogs in ultra 1920x1080 if I have a 270x & 12gb ram?

Get these buddy:

Sapphire R9 280x 3GB Dual-X,
Corsair Vengeance 8GB(4GBx2),
Seasonic S12II 520w.

8GB RAM is more than enough for the present games.

14k for 270X vs 23k for 280X. Does the price increase of 65% yield equivalent result in performance for 1080p gaming ? I'm curious as even I am pondering between 270X vs 280X :)
