I dont what exactly I need but I have Creative SBS A300 2.1 speaker setup for my desktop.
Occasionally I connect its 3.5mm pin to my cellphones 3.5 jack just to listen Radio FM or my cellphone songs.

The pain is I always have to unplug its 3.5mm pin from back-panel of my mobo and then plug into my phones jack. And I fear the pin might get damaged some day.

Is there any such type of extension/connector/splitter using which I dont have go through all this process every now and then and just simply plug a 3.5mm pin extension into my phones jack without having to disconnect it from the mobo panel?? Thus the 3.5mm pin will be both into the mobo and into my phones jack as well.

you'll need two extension cables and a splitter.

I have the first one but it wont work in this scenario.
I think I need two male splitters with female-in. So the one male pin will go into mobo and other into cell phone. and the female pin will be used by speakers own male pin.

i.e. reverse of the second pic you posted.[DOUBLEPOST=1412931846][/DOUBLEPOST]I have drawn my plan and this is exactly what I'm looking for:

So I'll need 2 items:
1) 3.5mm 1-Female to 2-Females Splitter
2) 3.5 mm male to male (two quantities)

But is this setup gonna work?

It will work. But you need to do is this:

Skip the PCB, use the diagram and use standard wires, will be a bit messy, but you put it in a box, and only the switch and jacks should be visible.

Was looking for exactly this kind of a cable/connector to be able to use my speakers for both computer use and DTH viewing (use the same monitor for both).
I gave up looking for it sometime back.

The plan is good but the extra mess of the wires is a put off :(

Thats one hell of terribly awesome DIY. Very professionally done. But again I dont want to do it using wires as it'll be way too delicate and much messy.

I guess I 'll stick to my self-drawn plan but finding such cables online isnt that easy esp. the female 2 on 1 splitter/ connector.

No wire mesh, the female 2 on 1 connector comes on box form as well, I just illustrated in the diagram as got no other proper pic from the net. The only mess will be for the male-male wires but then thats how it is to work so for me it wont be any mess. 1 meter of wire 'll be perfect for the job.

^Okay... i thought what you shown in picture is TRRS to two separate TRS, but what you need is TRS to two separate TRS. I could be wrong also!
