What watch are you wearing today???

@karankapoor:

That is an awesome Titan. It is almost like a tourbillon. Amazing to see the mainspring in the barrel. My watch has a similar crown. Which movement is in there. Probably the rotor has it printed on the back...!

btw model number ? cost ? I am sure my brother would be interested in a sweet deal of that watch. Looks so hot. He has another edge model which costs 16k in local market. He may go for this one.

Titans..are good deals. Once in a while, they run 40% discounts on most models (not EDGE though), that is a good time to grab nice automatics. Keep a lookout in the newspapers. You can then walk into any show room and grab a discount. They do not have in-house movements. Most are sourced from Citizen - Miyota. Getting a decent automatic (my one in the above picture also handwinds) for around 12-18K is a no-brainer...!

:)

Wow man what a comparison with a 15L car to a 65 l and 2.5Cr. dam. I am done. Thanks

Since your point is all about aesthetics, so my point was you are just going on harping on and on about looks, so would you buy this over an actual GTR, just because it looks cooler, or do you actually give adamn about the craftsmanship. Because if you did, you would not hate on the clearly better engineered watches.

titan had 40% off on amazon.in today.. even on edge :D :p

Thanks mate, Do share some pics of your watch.

Its not an Automatic watch so no Rotor (Yet is belongs to the Titan Automatic Series family), Its a Mechanical watch and u have to wind in manually every 35/40 hours.

I don't remember the Model # but its called The Tandem,When i Last checked the price was mrp 20995/- for the silver and 21995/- for the Gold.

Oh common what better engineered ? You mean to say that Titan don't know how to make watches ? They sell more then all the watches u named and saying they are waste ?

Also do let us know how other watches are better engineered.

As for the asthetics/looks u mean to say if titan had made a skeleton watch they had copied other then what about watches like HUBLOT/VACHERON CONSTANTIN/JAEGER/BREGUET u will say they are also cheaters, Right ?

Offensive ? Where sir i simply replied to ur last post u only said its ur money spend it as u want, But do let us know what is your choice of craftsmanship. (watches and not cars)

There was no need to get that offensive.

@karankapoor - That Titan hand wind skeleton is a fab watch! I have been eyeing it off and on for the last one year and have always resisted pulling the trigger on it. Don't know why. Maybe the next time there is a 40% off on Titan I will buy it. The gold version looks great but I am pulled towards the silver for some reason. I think that Titan has a Miyota handwind movement inside.

@AMG - Dude, chill. Rather than diss on other people's watches and opinions, form some of your own. I think you need to read up on various watch movements, watch manufacturers and their background on the type of watches they make. Price and looks are subjective, so refrain from commenting on that. Choose what you like, wear what you like.

@asingh - The Casio MDV-106 is the most basic $40 watch you can get from a decent brand. It has an unnamed Japanese Quartz running i and it is probably the quietest quartz I have ever worn.

Rose gold looks awesome on watches. Most Titan mechanicals use Citizen - Miyota.

Wearing one of my most expensive watches today. It was a pleasure to hunt it down, pounce on a great deal, and I am now enjoying it to the hilt. Put it on a custom ScartchWorks Rallye Strap. I present the Hamilton Pan Europ Chrono.

Guys anyone has any experience ordering watches/accesories from aliexpress and Rakuten Japan?
Are they safe(authentic)???

Rakuten is good. Many use them for JDM and Seiko Tuna / Grand series. WUS users find Rakuten fine. Though not sure what would happen at our Indian customs.....!
