Android Request/Offer: OnePlus 2 Invites

No one got any invites that they don't need?

And guys, an honest review on the phone would be great...the reviews seem all over the place right now.

Finally got the phone yesterday evening. Here my observations from first 24 hours of use.

1) Oxygen OS is fast .. no lag what so ever. about 2gb ram is always free but with several imperfactions.default launcher is good but i preferred Nova over it.
2) Fingerprint works like a charm for me .. (Read some where various angles of finger should be updated for one finger print .. did the same) and accuracy is 8/10. Better than that on Iphone and on some other similar devices with fingerprint scanners.
3) It gets warm. The temperature can be felt on metal sides easily. cools down fast
4) charging takes about 2-2.5 hrs for complete 100%.
5) Battery drains fast.. about 1% every minute of screen use. Android system eats mist of the battery. Another imperfection ofoxygen os.
6) camera is excellent
I rate it 8/10.UI needs significant improvement. But camera is good.

not the perfect phone.. but best in market currently in sub-30k range.

You can fire your questions if any.

Will update with more impressions about the phone later.

First question, how did you get the phone "tomorrow evening" ? :p Hehe your post is full of excitement, it should be yesterday evening.

Thanks for taking time and writing an honest review.

Guys, still no invites? Already 2 weeks gone :/ this seems to be even more difficult comparing to oneplus one.

I hope nexus 5 2015 launches asap. The way it's getting leaked all over the place, may be 31st aug release date? android naming always used to happen around oct, but this time around it happened in aug, so new nexus surely are possible at the same time.

Can you please check the Dual Sim operations (Call quality, Network Strength) because I'm mainly interested in its Dual Sim features, as it's one of the most powerful Dual Sim device available in the market.

Well i dont have a second sim to use at the moment. But trust me, the call quality and network quality on this device is awesome. The voice to and from the other end is loud, crisp and clear.
The only downer for me has been till now is its battery life. Battery drops quicker than it takes to charge. However I've only tested the device for only 2 charge cycles.

The best call quality I have gotten is from iPhone 6. Is it equal or better than that if you have used i6?

Don't think so as my friend ordered a one plus one in HK from invite in USA..... So I am pretty sure it works.
Also, even if I get the invite in India I can get it shipped to HK as there are no customs and shipping is cheap :)

The invites are region locked country wise.

Global invites are used for Hong Kong. Indian invites are not used for global ones.
Global invites starts with GL

Well if battery drains like insane, I'm out of it. For me battery is main concern. Do a full battery recycle, discharge to 0 and charge to 100. And one more thing, what drains the battery and did you update ota.

It seems it gonna take another 2-3 weeks for invites to roll out. If Google learn from last year mistake and do rectify with pricing.

I am skeptical for pricing of nexus 5'15. don't think so google is gonna touch that $349 pricing ever again. This year, as per the specs, probably it will go for $449 and people would still buy it ofcourse.

My nexus 4 is still awesome. If i intend to replace it I'll mostly look at sub 25k phones only.

Go for either nexus, or oneplus or any cyanogen phone, coz no matter how much hate they get, cyanogen phones are built solid and have a good experience in UI. But never go for mi phone really. UI is good, but terrible lag. atleast in mi4i. And this is coming from someone who knows how to manage a phone nexus style. By managing all the apps, disable all the shit and stll couldn't manage to make it perform like a fluid phone. The only good thing abt that phone is that it's 4g dual both sims. That's about it.

1% in 1 minute, well that's 100 minutes of screen time, which is the worst of any phone I have heard of in recent times. And this is with single sim. My god, that sucks. Looks like you got a bad piece as SoT is supposed to be around 5 -6 hours, not 1.5 hours or so.
