Accepting expensive gifts from GF ?

Just want to know, if it would be a good idea or not to receive expensive gifts from your girl friend, such as a costly bike like Ninja Z-1000 :)

has anyone of you has came across such situations ?

If you value the person and the relationship more than anything else, surely by all means go ahead...
If you are looking for a long term relationship go ahead.
If you are looking for a short term relationship be sure to return it back with applicable depreciation.

BTW I never thought I'd say that, but we were missing your subtly complicated issues.

dont worry dude, i wont get married until 32 :p :p, and m strictly against dowry :)

so in case of breakup (in unfortunate condition) down the line 2-3 year, will i have to return it along with depreciation cost ? is it so ?
 
^^ those expensive gifts are yours... forever!

when you give away something as part of gifts/donations/alms etc., you relinquish your ownership/authority/rights over it. it's then none of your business, whatever other person does with your stuff.

hope, all of your GFs understand this :p
 
Make her feel guilty...tell her how can this shitty bike suit your personality....this bike does not even come close to ur personality...when you hav enough guilt built up in her, tell her for the sake of this relationship you will keep the bike forever....and pretend to warn her never to insult you with such cheapo gifts again... [emoji14]
 
These are the important factors:

1.Will the bike be bought in YOUR name?
2.Will YOU pay all the taxes with owning the the vehicle.
3.If you break up a year later are you willing to give it BACK if she asks for it?
4.Are you willing to give rides to give free rides to your girlfriends family and friends if they ask you to?(They may guilt you to since she paid for it.)
5.Even if you are using the bike,she OWNS it.She may bring it up in FIGHTS.Think of your self confidence if it does.
